THE BAU WHORES
Cascade: So, any of you wanna come to visit? Or is it too much to ask?
Penelope: Um, guys, I'm scared.
Derek: Me too baby girl, me too.
Emily: Is she actually awake or is this Alison? Cause like I wouldn't be surprised.
Jennifer: It can't be a miracle, because if they existed, one of Rossi's marriages would have worked.
Dave: Low blow, Jareau, low blow.
Cascade: Have some faith in my ability to wake up. I had a shower as well, so I don't smell like hospitals anymore, nor do I look like one. Why the fuck did any of you let me wear that dreadful gown? Like dude, come on. You're lucky I have a go-bag here or I swear to Jesus Christ I would have come knocking on your door, prepared to hurt all of your faces.
Aaron: Language Moreau.
Cascade: Yes sir;)
Spencer: The chances of someone recovering from a coma largely depend on the severity and cause of their brain injury, their age and how long they've been in a coma. It's impossible to accurately predict whether the person will eventually recover, how long the coma will last and whether they'll have any long-term problems.
Cascade: Obviously no memory issues since I remember all of your pretty faces;)
Emily: Am I high? This is freaking me out.
Cascade: Ask that cute boyf of yours Em, see what he says:) Or I could simply face-time you.
Derek: I don't want to see no zombie looking woman on my phone, thanks for the offer.
Cascade: Piece of shit.
Dave: We're on our way.
Cascade: You're all so very desperate.
Aaron: Only for you.
Jennifer: Did Hotch just flirt?
Emily: On the group chat?
Penelope: CUTE BABIES💕💕💕
Cascade: He has to ask me to dinner first, Pen. Maybe if he's lucky...
Derek: Damn, Hotch hurry up.
Dave: 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Cascade: Did you guys teach Dave emojis?
Emily: I didn't.
Jennifer: Nope.
Derek: Definitely not.
Spencer: The chances of him actually understanding emojis are quite low due to his older age. So, no, I did not.
Cascade: Hotchner didn't, he barely understands himself. Pen?
Penelope: IT WAS ONE TIME AND A COMPLETE MISTAKE!
Cascade: What in the world have I missed?
Derek: Too much, baby girl, too much.
Emily: This is going to be so much better with you.
Jennifer: Get yourself cleared, but don't rush it, we want you better.
Cascade: Quite certain a year is enough medical leave. A nice scar as well, quite refined.
Aaron: Battle scars.
Cascade: Sure, or I could stick to 'these make me look hot and tough and rough scars'?
Aaron: That works too, I guess.
Cascade: You're soft on me, old man, way too soft.
Aaron: Believe me I am not 'soft'.
Derek: Currently gagging. And leaving this group.
Emily: Me too, this is disgusting.
Dave: I'm too old for this.
Spencer: That meant something, I missed it! No!
Jennifer: I have children. I don't need another two.
Penelope: OMG YES!! I HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR A NEW BAU COUPLE!!
Cascade: Penelope, we talked about this, dinner first. That is a step he has failed to complete. Now, get your asses over here. I need a hug.
Derek: Yes ma'am.
Emily: I'll be quicker than fine itself;)
Jennifer: I second what Emily said.
Penelope: I third it💕
Dave: I'll be there, just not as quick.
Derek: Rough night?
Dave: Something like that.
Cascade: Damn Dave, keeping the fitness levels high are we?
Dave: Someone put her back in a coma.
Cascade: Never;)

Cascade soundlessly smirked at her family. She had missed them more than words could ever describe. Despite being in their presence almost every day, she could never shake the feeling of being alone. After all, every day, every hour, she was stuck in her own mind. Her own personal curse, if you will. Being in your own mind for too long is never a good idea.

Another detail which caught her attention was the group name. They hadn't changed it. Hotchner always managed to find a way to convince the team for a more appropriate and suitable name. Cascade, on the other hand, would always change the name to a name far less suitable for a group full of FBI agents. It was all the same fun. Daily callings into Aaron's office, daily lectures about being immature. It was rather entertaining for the young woman.

I guess they must've missed me, eh?

Truth is, they missed her more than they would ever care to admit. Hotch believed that by saving the group name as one she had chosen, it held them closer to her. To her happiness and positivity, and the endless amount of flirting. It was their only way of connecting, of communicating. She was never there, never able to spread her personal thoughts, and by having one thing she loved by them, it would always allow them to remember her if need be. If she did, truly die.

To say Cascade was thrilled to see her team would be an understatement. She wanted nothing more than to hold them and tell them how much she appreciated every second they spent with her. Every case they spoke about, every book they read, every second they let themselves be vulnerable by her side. She craved the feeling.

She had missed them.

She had missed him.
