The surprise

Chapter 8

"It's ok Princess." "We won't leave you." Zander and Jord quietly say. The alpha teacher sighs. "Brody change back to normal the fights over." I look at the chic I accidentally bumped into. She sighs "I'm sorry I called you childish." She quietly says.

I smile "it's ok I know I can be childish sometimes. Especially because I get entertained easily like earlier." "What where you doing earlier." Zander asks. I look at my still bare feet.

I wiggle my toes and giggle. "I was dancing and twirling around. The grass is very soft." I say and wiggle my toes again.

"And as I was twirling around a accidentally bumped into her." I say explaining myself. "It was very fun." I quickly add to the earlier statement. Zander chuckles "dancing around seems fun." I nod "it was."

"Umm Babygirl we have a problem." Jord says. I turn and look at him. "You're dad wants you home now. Shawn says he isn't happy." I look at the ground confused as to why he's mad. "The pack. I argued with him infront of the whole pack." I quietly say.

"I argued with him about me having 2 mates and then the whole pack started whining about how it isn't fair." I say in the same quiet tone as before. "The whole pack must think I'm a brat." "No babygirl I doubt that's why he wants you home."

"Why else would he want me home. Oh my gosh what if he's mad about you 2 being my mates and sends me back home to my mom. Or what if...." Zander covers my mouth with his hand forcing me to stop talking. "You're freaking yourself out. I'm sure it's nothing. He probably wants to talk to you about the pack and maybe training you."

"Training me?" He chuckles "yeah you know to help prepare you for when you change into a wolf." "Well yeah but maybe he wants to...." Jord cuts me off.

"Babygirl I'm sure it's nothing." I frown "are you sure?" He smiles and nods "I'm positive it's nothing super bad."

I sigh "fine." "Alpha Colby is it ok if I take her home." Jord asks and the alpha teacher nods. "Go ahead class will be over in like 10 minutes anyways." "Thank you." Jord says and turns to me.

"Come on little one time to go home." I nod and take his hand. He looks down at me and I smile. He chuckles and leads me to the car.

I climb in the back and Jord climbs into the front seat. He drives home and leads me inside the house. "Scarlet you're finally here." Dad says as he walks into the living room.

He sees Jord and rolls his eyes. "Dad stop." Dad growls I guess to assert his dominance and Jord quietly growls back.

"Can you 2 stop. The growling thing is still very weird to me." Dad looks at me. "Please." I quietly say. He sighs "follow me." He starts walking towards the kitchen.

"You're not in trouble or anything. I came to inform you. The pack will be having a meeting here Tuesday night. So tell me if anyone tries anything and please don't start a fight with the pack like this morning." I slowly nod. "Ok you may go to your room. I expect you to do your homework."

"I did it yesterday." Dad looks at me. "Really." He says kinda surprised. I giggle "yeah there's this thing called study hall." He rolls his eyes "ok you know what Miss. Sarcasm go to your room." I nod and go to leave the kitchen.

"Oh and my girlfriend is coming over later." I freeze and look at dad. "Girlfriend." He nods "she is a wolf. I met her a few weeks ago while I was at another pack for a meeting. She had 2 daughters. And please be nice. I want them to feel welcome." "Wh..what if they ummm. What if they don't make me feel you know welcome." I quietly say.

"They will I met her daughters they're very nice. Now go to your room. They'll be here at 6 so you have about 4 hours until they'll be here. You can do whatever you want. Just dress kinda nice." He looks at Jord "Ohh and do me a favor and shower you reek of the cross boys." Jord smirks and kisses the side of my head.

"Ok." I say and walk out of the kitchen. I walk upstairs to my room and Jord follows me. "So cuddles first then shower. Or shower first and then cuddles." Jord says as soon as we walk into my room.

I smile and walk over to my bed. I lay down and he smirks. He walks over to the bed and jumps on it.

He wraps his arms around me and pulls me towards him. He grabs my tv remote and turns on some tv show. He snuggles against me and closes his eyes. I giggle and run hand through his hair. "Are you tired?" He nods "you try training for 2 hours running around a field with no breaks." I smile and continue playing with his hair.

After a while I hear a soft snore. I look over and Jord is sleeping. I smile and turn my attention back to the tv, but I can't focus on the show. All I can think about is his girlfriend.

I know mom and dad have been apart for 10 years, but still it just doesn't feel right. Him having a girlfriend. And his girlfriend has kids so I technically have step sisters.

And I don't want a step mom. I like mom and dad. I don't want a stupid step mom. All I want is for mom and dad to get along. But instead they hate each other and he has a girlfriend.

Which I don't get why because mom is his mate they were meant for each other. I hate this whole stupid wolf thing. It's so confusing and the growling is just so odd. I just wish I didn't know about the whole wolf thing.
