The surprise

Chapter 11

"Don't make me force you too eat. I will feed you in front of everyone and I don't care what they say." Jord whispers.

I gulp and slowly move away from his chest. I pick up the fork and start to eat. "That's what I thought." He whispers and kisses the side of my head.

I smile a small smile and wiggle my butt moving closer to him. He grips my hips and pushes me down. "Babygirl you can't do that." I look at him confused. "Unless you want me to fuck you don't do that." My cheeks go bright red and I hide my face as best as I can. "Sorry." I whisper.

"You don't have to be it's ok. Just don't do that." I nod and take another bite of my food. "So Scarlet how do you like living here so far?" Dad's girlfriend asks.

"It's good basically exactly how it was before I left." "Ohh that's right you moved away with your mom." She says and rolls her eyes.

"Don't roll your eyes. Just because you're dad's girlfriend that doesn't mean you have to roll your eyes and act like mom's a villain. You're the one who's trying to change the family. So if anything you're the villain." I angrily say and stand up.

"Scarlet sit back down." Dad says. "No." I look at the ground. My hands are shaking actually my whole body is shaking. "I'm going on a walk." I quietly say and walk towards the door.

"Make sure you put a jacket on you don't want to get sick." Shawn says. I nod and grab my jacket. I put it on and slip on my sneakers.

I walk outside and walk down the driveway. I avoid the woods for obvious reasons. Bugs and spiders and the fact that I could get lost. So I walk down the street and walk towards the town. I take deep breaths trying to calm down.

After a little while I reach the main town and walk into a little cafe. I get hot chocolate and a muffin. I sit at a booth and look at the table. I take a deep breath and sigh.

"What's a pretty girl like you doing at a cafe all alone and looking all sad." I hear a guys voice say.

I look up and a guy is standing there. He's about my age. He has blondish brown hair and dark blue eyes. He's tall I guess. I'd say 5'10 maybe 5'11.

"May I sit here?" He asks and gestures to the empty booth around me. "I guess." I quietly say.

He smiles and sits down. "I'm Jackson." "I'm Scar." He smiles "Scar is a pretty name." "It's a dumb name just like my stupid parents and dad's stupid girlfriend." Jackson looks at me confused.

"Well I think it's a cute name." "Where are you from? I haven't seen you around here before." Jackson asks. "I lived here a long time ago. But I moved away for a while and came here to spend time with my dad." He smiles "oh that's cool." I shrug "yeah I guess."

"Well how do you like it so far." I shrug. I look at him "do you believe in werewolves." He tenses up a little. "I mean they sounds cool and are fun to read about but they're fictional." He says obviously lying.

I sigh and roll my eyes "well my dad said there's this pack of like big wolves. Like huge wolves. He seems to think they're shape shifters."

Jackson nervously laughs "yeah they're a special breed." I nod and go back to looking at the table. "Hey little one I finally found you." I hear Jord's voice say. Of course he came after me. "Hey I found her." "Really finally." Zander says. They both came looking for me.

Jord and Zander walk into the cafe and walk towards us. When they see Jackson they automatically walk a little faster.

Jord sits next to me forcing me to move closer to the wall. And Zander glares at Jackson. Jord wraps his arms around me and pulls me towards him shielding me as best as he can.

"Alpha trainers Jord and Zander it's nice seeing you again." Zander just continues glaring at him and Jord tries to hide me even more.

Is he training to be an Alpha too. I mean it's obvious he's a wolf because he started acting weird when I asked him if he believed in them.

"Jackson it's nice to see you too." Jord says quietly growling. "So you guys have met Scar." He says and Zander nods. "Yes and she's ours. You can smell our scent on her from all the way across the room. Yet you still decided to talk to her." Zander says a little annoyed.

"And what's the number 1 rule everyone knows." Jord says equally as annoyed and Zander. "If a guy or girl smells like a wolf you know especially a alpha wolf leave him or her alone." Jackson says and Jord and Zander nod.
"Exactly so why the hell did you come over and talk to our girl."

"Guys it's fine. Nothing happened. He wasn't flirting or anything like that." I quietly say. Jord cups my cheek and gently caresses it with his thumb. "It's ok Babygirl you're safe now." I look at him confused. "Safe? He wasn't going to hurt me." Jord laughs.

"Angel I know you think you know him but you don't. His dad was very abusive growing up. And his last girlfriend he beat her up so much she had to go to the hospital." He looks at Jackson than at me.

"If you tried to confront him about him being a wolf he would've flipped and probably hurt you." He says suddenly worried.

I gulp and look over at Jackson. "I'm better now. I'm so much better now." Zander rolls his eyes. "You stay away from Scarlet." He warns and steps aside.

Jord steps out of the booth. I cling onto him. He chuckles and lifts me up. "My cuddly little pup no one will hurt you." I nod and kiss his cheek.

I smile and hide my face. He chuckles and carries me out of the cafe. "Scarlet you've got to be a lot more careful than that. Now that you know about wolfs and especially how protective us alphas are. If a guy tries to talk to you. Most of the time he's either thinking about taking you away from us, hurting you. Or he wants to make us mad." Zander says scolding me.

"You can't go around talking to random guys as though you're best friends." Jord says scolding me just like Zander. "You're so lucky we tried to find you. You're dad almost talk us into staying and letting you think things over and calm down yourself, but we decided to make sure your safe. If we didn't come you could've gotten taken or he could've hurt you." Zander says still scolding me.

He's slowly talking louder and is basically yelling at me. And I don't do good with people yelling at me. Tears well up in my eyes and roll down my cheeks.

"I-I'm sorry I thought he wanted to-to be friends." I whisper and hide my face burying my face in Jord's neck.

I whimper and cry even harder. "I'm sor-sorry I didn't think it-it would make you mad." I sob. Jord moves forcing me to stop hiding.

"No baby we're not mad at you." I look at Jord and wipe my cheeks. "Your-you're not." He nods. "We're a little upset that he was talking to you but we're not mad at you. You didn't know who he was and didn't know what he was capable of."

"So you're not mad at me?" He smiles and wipes the tears away. "We're not mad." Jord whispers before kissing my nose. I sniffle and wrap my arms around him. "You're positive?" I ask and he nods.

"I am 100% sure we're not mad at you. We're just upset that he talked to you. So we're mad at him not you." I nod and rest my head against his chest listening to his heartbeat.

"Don't fall asleep on me. We haven't had desert yet." "Yeah your dad got this amazing chocolate cake it looks so good." Zander says a little excited. I smile a small smile and wipe my cheeks.
