Chapter 10

"Are they cute?" She ask and Bubba sighs. "I like girls so i don't find guys attractive." The 17 year old rolls her eyes. "SCARLET are his friends attractive." "They're ummm they're pretty scary." She rolls her eyes "you're useless."

I whimper and look at the ground. I am not useless. "I bet you haven't even changed into a wolf yet. My sister did. We both turned when we turned 14." I whimper and stand up. "I-I'm going to get a drink."

I walk towards the garage which is where we keep it. "Bubba do you want anything." "What I usually drink." He responds. "Ok."

I walk into the garage. I grab me a lemonade and Bubba I get him a coke with a little bit of alcohol in it. Yes I know alcohol at 18 but that's what he drinks. I walk back into the house and into the kitchen.

"Here you go Bubba you usual..." I look up. And Bubba's friends are here. Jord, Zander, Derek, and Blane.

The stupid 17 year old is standing next to Jord, leaning against the wall, twirling her hair around her finger and flirting with him. And I see her looking at Zander every so often as though she's thinking about flirting with him to.

"Scar. Hey are you ok?" I turn looking at Bubba. "Sorry yeah I'm ok. Here's your drink." "Thank you." I sit next to him and continue looking at the 17 year old who's talking to Jord.

The 15 year old smiles. "Yeah she's amazing isn't she." "Huh." She giggles. "Hailey my sister." "Amazing what."

She giggles yet again. "Hailey's great at talking to guy. I bet in about 10 minutes she'll be leading him to a room." I look at Hailey who is the 17 year old. She laughing and lightly hits Jord's shoulder.

I hear a growl and almost everyone looks at me. I look around confused. That definitely wasn't Jord or Zander it wasn't deep enough to be one of their growls. It wasn't dad either and I don't think it was Bubba.

Shawn starts laughing "Scar that was you." I look him confused "what?" "That growl was way to high pitched to come from a guy. And the other girls in here were talking." That was me. I don't growl I'm not..I just don't.

I look at the table confused. I try and growl again but can't figure out how I did it before. Hailey laughs. "Poor pup can't even growl yet I feel sorry for whoever gets stuck with you. You're so weak and useless. You can't even growl." She says and laughs even more.

Stuck with me. She feels sorry for whoever gets stuck with me. I glance over at dad and he isn't even paying attention. His dumb girlfriend is cuddled up next to him and he's talking to her not even noticing what's going on.

"I bet you won't even be able to change into a wolf. You'll be useless like all the other chics in packs. Most of them don't change. They're just normal boring human beings." She walks over to me.

"And do you know what wolves do to humans. They eat them. And of course you can't forget about the runt of the pack. Nobody likes a runt. So the poor runt gets abandoned and left to die. Just like you." I whimper and look at my lap.

Which makes her laugh even more. "God you're even more useless than I thought." She smiles "so which one of Shawn's friends do you have a crush on. It's obvious you like on of them or else you wouldn't have growled at me."

I glance over at Jord and Zander. She smiles "oh 2 of them. You really are a slut." She whispers and I whimper "sl..slut." She smiles "yeah you have a crush on 2 guys that's very slutty." I whimper yet again. She smiles and looks at Jord and Zander.

"Watch how the master does it." She walks over to Jord and Zander. Bubba, Derek and Blane are talking so they don't notice anything just like dad and his girlfriend.
