Asher's POV

I pushed my sunglasses farther up my nose, as I walked into the park with Alistair flanking my left and Ani holding a picnic basket at my right.

I sighed taking in the scenery around me, the kids running around with the dogs, the couples having a picnic on the grass and the parents finally getting a break on the park benches.

At that moment, taking in all the serenity and happiness around me, I felt as grounded as the grass underneath my feet.

I felt a nudge on my shoulder, then I took off my glasses and turned towards Alistair, who was staring at me with his usual look of pure utter concern, I do not deserve him.

“Are you okay Ash? Is this good for you?”. I shook my head with a lopsided grin “Come on Al, I’m fine. I have been outside before” I said trying to play it off, but I knew he was worried since this was my first time amongst other people and especially because of where we were.

His frown deepened and he scoffed before replying with a scolding tone “You know that’s not why I’m asking, I didn’t say anything when Anne finally mentioned the name of the park she had in mind in the car because you seemed fine with it, but I know you remember coming here with me and Raine”.

I shook my head at him before glancing at Ani and answering “Don’t. It's okay, I promise at this moment, I am okay”.

He sighed and nodded his head, giving me a small smile in response.
I felt the tension in my shoulders relax again, and then we went on walking.

I finally noticed we were now behind Ani and that she must have realised we were having a conversation that she wasn’t meant to be a part of, and walked ahead to give us some space.

My heart couldn’t help but squeeze in guilt and decided I had to say something “Hey ani, where exactly are you taking us?”.

She turned back and rolled her eyes at Al and I, “Ohhhhhh, so now you notice we’re actually walking. It's okay, I’m glad you guys worked out whatever you were talking about, and I’m taking you to my  favourite spot”.

Al, grunted in response “Where exactly? A dark secluded location were you can just easily have your way with both of us…because I wouldn’t mind and I don’t think Ash would either”

While Ani just seemed to laugh it off, I felt my entire body heat up at his words and the images that just flooded my mind, and had to let out a cough to dissipate it.

Exactly at that instant, I felt Al’s breath fan across my right ear and down the right side of my neck “Is someone getting a little turned on? Tell me Ash is the idea of me and Ani together with you  just a bit too much to handle? ”

Oh my God,

I could not even describe how my body was feeling right now, Al was still right next to me and if his hands weren’t holding my steady at this second, I knew I would have tripped from how much I trembled.

Then he spoke again with his lips still on my ear “That’s not an answer Ash” and I just wasn’t able to stop myself for sighing out his name, “Al, please”.

Just right then Ani spoke and thankfully distracted from the extreme tension, “Okay guys, we’re here”.

At her words, I took a minute to forget how confused and on edge I was by Al’s actions, to focus on how different this part of the park was.

I thought back to the times I had been here with Al and Raine, how did we miss this, the beauty of this part, lied particularly in the seclusion.
