"Aw," Dilla mocked, "you scared?"

She walked towards you, however, she kept her wand pointed behind her at Fred.

"Get out of here. Leave Fred alone," you said, pointing Adrian's wand at her, showing her you were not powerless.

Dilla didn't hesitate to take another step closer to you, a twisted smile spreading across her face, quickly contorting her pretty features.

"You're the one who interrupted him and me. What happened with Adrian?" she laughed.

"Expelliarmus!" you said, finally bringing yourself to cast the disarming spell on Dilla.

The spell caught Dilla off guard. Her smirk changed into an expression of shock and her wand flew out of her hand, landing on the floor. Thankfully, it was now way too far away for her to retrieve.

"It's over. Now leave," you said, gripping the wand so tightly that you could feel your knuckles turning white.

"Fine," she said dismissively waving her hand, "I lose. Have him. Fine. But, this isn't over. Just know that."

And with that Dilla spun around and walked towards the door, exiting the room.

You were shocked your completely improvised plan had worked. She was leaving.

You did not move a muscle until Dilla was completely gone from the room, keeping Adrian's wand trained on her back until the doors banged shut behind her.

"Fred!" you yelled out, running over to him, and dropping onto your knees in front of him. He was still on his knees, his breathing ragged, appearing much more dazed than you had been.

"Hey," you said softly, putting your hands on his shoulders, "you okay?"

He said nothing.

"Fred?" you said a little louder, "can you hear me?"

He just continued to stare straight ahead, looking right through you.

"Look at me." you said, "Fred look at me, please, you're scaring me."

No response.

"Fred," you said cupping his face, "what did she do to you..?"

Still nothing.

"I- I need to get George or Hermione, or someone," you said slowly standing up, "they'll know what to do,"  Your legs felt weak like they couldn't hold you up.

You had no idea if he could hear you but you spoke anyway.

"I'll be right back okay? Don't go anywhere," you whispered.

You barely remembering walking. Your legs felt like they were moving on their own, bringing you to the Great Hall and up to your friends. But as you stood there in front of them, you couldn't get the words out.

Something's wrong with Fred.

"Hey!" Katie, said, noticing you, "What's up?"

"Yeah," Lee added, "Where have you been?"

You still couldn't get the words out.

Something's wrong with Fred.

You couldn't say it. You couldn't just speak the four simple words. All you could do was think them. Over and over and over.

"Hey, where's Fred?" George asked you.

Say it. Fred needs help.

Your subconscious finally pushed you enough to say the words.

"Something's wrong with Fred."

"What do you mean?" said George, "Hah! Is he wasted already?"

"No, somethings wrong," you said, feeling tears forming in your eyes, "he needs help."

"Shit," said George, taking on a more serious and slightly panicked tone, "where is he then?"

The possible urgency of the situation then hit you like a train. You suddenly grabbed George by his wrist, to lead him to Fred.

You were soon running quickly through the halls, George next to you, and Lee a few steps behind. Katie and Angelina were not with you because they had suggested they go get Madam Pomfrey, in case Fred needed her. They insisted that they wouldn't take long because Madam Pomfrey was helping to chaperone the dance and they would follow your directions you gave them to get to the room.

"Here," you said, pushing the doors to the room open.

You ran into the room, quickly sliding in front of Fred and taking his limp hands up in yours.

"Hey, I got help okay?" you said to him, clutching his hands.

"Oh god, what happened?" George said, looking at Fred and then at you.

"I don't know. Dilla did something. She was alone with him for so long and-"

Before you could finish your story, the sound of footsteps entering the room interrupted you.

Katie and Angelina stood in the doorway, Madam Pomfrey right behind them.

"Let me see him, let me see him," she said, walking over to Fred.

She crouched next to you and after just seconds of inspection, she concluded.

"He was definitely stupefied," she said, standing up, "I can inspect the other damage much better in the hospital wing."

At the wave of her wand, a stretcher appeared. Madam Pomfrey cast a levitating charm on Fred, lifting him onto it.

"But I was stupefied too," you said to her, "and I'm completely fine."

"Well then I need you to come with me as well," Madam Pomfrey said firmly, another stretcher appearing, "I'll need to check you for any other injuries you could have sustained. Lay down on the stretcher, it's lined with sleeping charms so you will fall asleep in minutes."

You turned and looked at your friends. George was standing next to Fred's stretcher. Lee was still standing near the couch. Katie and Angelina had not left the doorway, holding hands. They all wore expressions of high concern.

Lee walked over to you, placing his hand on your shoulder.

"We will all be waiting for both of you when you wake up. We promise."

George, Katie, and Angelina all nodded.

You then made your way over to the stretcher and lay down.

Almost immediately you felt the strong urge to close your eyes and sleep. You allowed yourself to relax and for the charms to work their magic, soon lulling you into a deep sleep.

~~~~~
The first thing you heard when you woke up was the murmur of voices, recognizing them as Madam Pomfrey's and Professor McGonagall's. They sounded a few feet away and you could see them standing around the bed next to yours.
"I had to send their friends away to their dorms," you heard Madam Pomfrey say, "They've been sitting around these two's beds for hours."
"It's very lucky that only those four know of this." Professor McGonagall responded, "With Sirius Black still on the loose and the news of students being stupefied there would have been mass panic. Now, how are they both doing?"
"They were both stupefied, as you know, but he was hit with another spell as well." you heard Madam Pomfrey said.
She was talking about Fred.
"What was the spell?" you heard Professor McGonagall ask.
"Well," she said, her volume dropping, you now strained to hear her voice, "I don't want to worry just yet because it may have been cast incorrectly and he could be completely fine and-"
"Poppy tell me what spell," McGonagall said, cutting Madam Pomfrey off, her voice sounding slightly on edge.
"Obliviate."
