Your next week of school quickly rolled around. You had a bunch of work in every class and were so preoccupied with all of your homework that the week flew by. You enjoyed most of your classes except for potions because of the seats that Snape wouldn't allow you to change and also because it was potions.

Other than that class, and for fleeting moments in the dorm, you had barely seen Dilla. This you did not mind. She was always the first one to leave in the morning and the last to come in at night.

By the time Friday afternoon rolled around you were ready to take a nap for the entire span of the weekend.

"I'm so tired," you groaned, your head laying in your arms on the table in the common room as you and your five friends sat surrounded by books, parchment, and quills.

"We have tryouts in two hours I don't know if I will be able to stay awake," Katie said, her head resting on her astronomy book.

"Oh my gosh I forgot they were today," you said, picking your head up out of your arms, "you are all going to do great." you encouraged, giving your friends reassuring nods.

For the next hour and a half, you all tried to refocus and get more work done. Angelina, Katie, Fred, and George later rose from the table to get dressed into their quidditch uniforms. So, you and Lee tried to read and take notes on the Divination textbook however the conversation quickly wandered.

"He told George and me about you guys," Lee said while scribbling on his parchment.

You were momentarily frozen by Lee's words, "What did he say?" you responded, looking up at him. Neither of you had said Fred's name but you knew that's exactly who Lee was referring to.

"Just that you guys have something and he still isn't sure what that is. If you listened to the way he talks about you, you'd understand. I'm telling you not to be a bad friend to Fred but because I don't want you breaking his heart. He's never been like this over any girl before."

You opened your mouth ready to respond but were interrupted by Katie, Angelina, George, and Fred's return.

"How do we look?" Katie said, twirling around in her uniform.

"Like you're ready to make the team!" Lee said, his eyes looking almost softer as he spoke to Katie.

Your eyes then landed on Fred. His hair was slightly messy from throwing the robes on and the deep red color of the uniform complimented the color of it perfectly. His head was down and he was looking at his sleeves, busy adjusting them. You rose from the table and approached Fred.

"Hey your hair's a mess!" you laughed, running your fingers through his bent head to tame it.

Fred then looked up at you, smiling as your hands were in his hair. You could feel all of your friend's eyes on the both of you.

"Yeah?" he said, "Did you fix it for me?"

"Looks perfect," you said nodding.

As you nodded, Fred leaned in further and caught you in a kiss, wrapping his hands around your lower back. You leaned into him as well, your hand finding Fred's shoulder while the other still lightly held the side of his head. After a few seconds, you both pulled away from the kiss, big smiles on both of your faces.

"Good luck okay?" you said, rubbing his shoulder and upper arm, "You're going to do phenomenal Freddie."

"FINALLY!" George yelled out, "Angelina and Katie you both owe me three sickles each. Lee, how much do we owe you?"

You and Fred turned to look at your friends, "You placed BETS on us?" you laughed in disbelief.

"Yup," said George pocketing the coins that Angelina and Katie gave him while he handed two of them to Lee, "Angelina and Katie said you guys would be together publicly by October, I said sometime in the next two weeks and Lee said before tryouts."
