Halloween night soon quickly approached. You and everyone else were in desperate need of a good party. You all decided that each pair would show everyone their costumes in the common room which made getting ready with Angelina and Katie in your dorm especially difficult.

"Don't look at me!" Katie yelled out as she exited the bathroom. You and Angelina obliged, turning your backs to her. Angelina got dressed next, having you and Katie turn around as well. Finally, you got dressed and with closed eyes, the three of you used the banister to get you down the stairs safely and into the common room. You all sat on a nearby couch, eyes closed chattering in excitement, waiting for the boys to come down so everyone could reveal their costumes.

"We're here, we're here!" Fred called out from the stairs.

You heard them bumping into each other as they stumbled around the common room.

"Where are you guys?" Lee said.

"Over here!" Katie called out. Eventually, the boys made it to the couch, each finding their costume partner, standing across from them.

"Ready?" said George, "Everyone opens their eyes on the count of three. Okay, 1, 2, and 3!"

You opened your eyes, seeing Lee and Katie's costumes first. Katie was wearing a red dress that ended at her thighs, tiny red heels, and on her head sat a headband with two protruding horns. Lee's portion of their costume was one of his white button-ups with makeshift wings attached to the back, a pair of jeans, and a headband holding up a halo.

"Devil and angel!" you laughed, thinking about how you and Fred almost did the costume, "You guys look great!"

Then you saw Angelina and George's outfits. George also wore a white button-up but with only a few of the buttons haphazardly holding his shirt together. Over it, he wore and vest and donned black cargo pants. He also had a large hat on that tufts of his hair peeked out from and an eyepatch. Angelina wore a loose sequin skirt that went all the way down to her ankles and a white tube top. She had on glittering makeup and her hair was curled, some of the pieces now a bright turquoise instead of their usual dark brown.

"Aw why wasn't George the mermaid?" you laughed, "But seriously you guys look awesome."

Now everyone was looking at you and Fred's costume and complimenting both of you.

"Your costumes are exactly like the characters!" Angelina said.

"You guys win, hands down," said Lee, slinging his arm around Katie's shoulder.

"Didn't know this was a contest Lee." joked Fred.

"Well it was more of an in my head contest than a real one," Lee admitted.

"Speaking of heads, Fred your hair," laughed George, pointing out that it was now brown for his costume, "guess you couldn't stand me being the more attractive ginger huh?" George's comment sent everyone into fits of laughter.

Music was soon turned on in the common room and you guys jumped in to help the sixth and seventh years prepare for the party. Drinks were set up, pumpkins were put out, and any students younger than their fifth year were encouraged to go to their dorm or another common room.

After about an hour students from other houses began to fill the common room. The music was turned up and the lights slightly dimmed.

A group of Slytherin's entered the room Dilla among them. She approached your group, Adrian, behind her as she held his hand over her shoulder and led him inside. Adrian wore a dark purple suit and his hair was bright green. To top it all off, his face was adorned with fake tattoos.

Dilla, on the other hand, had her white-blonde hair was up in two pigtails and she wore a tank top one side of it colored black the other red. To match her shirt, her shorts were also these colors, just on opposite sides.

Harley Quinn and the Joker.

"Well hey, guys!" she eagerly said.

"Dilla what do you want," you said cooly.

"I just came over to compliment everyone's costumes and give you a little gift that's all," she said,  "when we hung out I kind of cheated everyone out of good drinks except for Fred. So I had more mailed here, this time enough for each of you, not just Fred. Adrian, do you think you could pass them out?"

Adrian handed a drink to Katie, then Lee, then George, then Fred, and then you. You silently took the drink from him a nod being your form of thank you.

"At least her costume is accurate," Katie whispered in your ear, reading your thoughts, "a villain."

"Hey this isn't that bad," said Lee, popping the cork off on his bottle and sipping the contents, "definitely better than the other drink Dilla you gave us last time, no offense."

"None has been taken Lee," she responded, "I told you guys this one is my favorite. That isn't for no reason. Anyway, Adrian and I are going to go party, bye-bye."

The rest of you sipped the drinks that Dilla gave you and continued to have fun. Fred and George successfully spiked the punch and you all danced together in a large circle so aggressively that you lost the glasses that went with your costume.

"Guys!" Lee screamed over the now very loud music that had filled the room, "We should take a picture!"

"Did anyone bring a camera!?" Katie yelled.

"I brought one!" Angelina shouted back, "My polaroid is over by the fireplace on top of George's vest! I'll go grab it!"

"I'll get it! I need a little air anyways!" you yelled to Angelina, walking off in the direction of the fireplace.

As you reached the fireplace you couldn't see the camera and you felt your head beginning to pound, just like it had done the last time you drank, only this time was much worse and very sudden. You tried getting to the couch but were unsuccessful, ending up sitting on the floor in front of the fireplace.

"Are you okay??" said Fred appearing and kneeling in front of you.

"My head hurts so bad." was all you could muster.

"Don't move. I'll grab you some water," he said.

After a few minutes, Fred came back and handed you a glass of water and sat crossed-legged on the floor next to you.

"Feeling any better?" he asked.

"Yeah actually I am, thank you I needed that. I think I was also getting tired from dancing," you said, lightly laughing.

"Do you need anything else?" Fred asked, his voice still tinged with concern.

"Hmm let me think," you responded "I think all I need right now is, you," you said slyly, leaning in and kissing him. He kissed you back, his hands cupping the sides of your face. As the kiss began to deepen you suddenly felt outside eyes on you, a lot of eyes.

You pulled out the the kiss to see who was looking at you and saw the rest of your friends standing about ten feet away from you. Katie and Angelina's mouths were open, both gasping while George looked very angry, his eyebrows furrowed close together. Lee's expression was a mix of both surprise and disappointment.

You looked back at Fred to see if he was as confused as you were. But it wasn't Fred. Sitting next to you, inches from your face was Adrian.
