Sorry for the missed chapter last week. I was very busy... Anyway...

------------------------

Jake ran as fast as he could, out to the main hall. There, a swarm of people covered and hid him, as the man chasing him looked around aimlessly, trying to find Jake.
line.

The wait was agonizing. He could be so easily found and put to storage. However, Jake tried his very best to hide his nervousness.

Suddenly, he spotted the man scanning through the people in the line. Jake left the queue and made a bee-line for the toilets.

"Oh my fudging god." Jake mumbled to himself. He couldn't believe that he didn't get caught. Sitting down on the toilet bowl, he thought of when he should get out. He knew that he couldn't wait too long, or else everyone would've left, and finding him would be way too easy.

He also knew that leaving too soon may result in the man finding him much easier. Thus, he waited a good 15 minutes, before walking out of the toilet. Seeing the noticeably shorter queue, he knew time was running out.

Jake reviewed what he learnt in Biology session. The eye focuses on the first and last parts of a thing, and skims through the rest.

Having that in mind, Jake pleaded with a few other people queuing up to overtake them, and succeeded every time. Slowly, the queue inched forward, and as good as his acting skill could be, Jake began to show signs of nervousness.

He looked around, and saw the man looking at the crowd. The man was moving towards the queue, and Jake felt uneasy. He couldn't leave the queue now. There would be too little people to blend into. Jake pulled out his phone to draw his face away from the crowd.

From the corner of his eyes, he could see him standing roughly at the back of the queue, looking forward. The queue moved again. Moving with it, Jake try to hide behind the man behind him. Though staring at his phone, Jake knew close to everything happening around you.

"Next"

Jake thought: Yes! Closer to freedom!

"Next!"

Jake looked up. He was next. Embarrassed, Jake shuffled forwards, and after a metal detector was held in front of him, he was instructed to leave. He had made it. He had made it out of the Great Hall.
