The male in question hopped of his horse, tying them up on a post near by the back of the castle before pulling on his mask. Sure it wasn't his signature one but it was still a mask, a more suitable one for what was currently happening in the castle. The maskeraid ball, something a good portion of the kingdom looked forward too. He was the only one sent on his team for his because the less the better or something, he was used to sneaking into places like this and didn't have much of a care for getting caught, he always, always, somehow escaped. No one knew how, man was like Houdini. Anyway, back to what I was talking about, pulling on his mask he walked into the castle, making his way to the ballroom, trying not to be seen by any guards.

Making it the room he let a small sigh leave his mouth as he looked around for his person in question, a girl, a sweet one at that, she always puts others before her and doesn't take much for herself. His eyes landed on her and he made his way over quickly, his steps large and demanding in a way. His father had tought him to dance, he always hated it, what good of a skill would it be for him, he was never gonna dance. Whelp looks like that skill is gonna come in handy now, he approached her "Niki, can I have this dance?" He said with a small bow offing his hand to her, she turned and looked at him. "Techno? What on earth are you doing here?" She asked taking his hand as to not blow his cover "I came to warn you" he said starting to guide her in the dance. "Warn me of what?" Niki asked him looking up at hi masked face, this was the most shes ever seen of it, usually he keeps the whole thing covered, only letting it off around family so to Niki this was a surprise.

"You need to after today, get as far away from the castle as you can Niki, there's something planned and we don't want you getting hurt, we mainly being Wil but still, I can't tell you what day it will be, you can't bring anyone human with you, and you cannot let anyone know where you are going" he said continuing the dance with her, he got a slight nod from her "Techno one more thing" she said looking up at him, he hummed in response "can I bring Eret and Fundy, they aren't really human but they can be of use to you guys, Eret after all is a witch" she said, The pinkette nodded, letting her know her idea was a go. Small whispers could be heard from the doorway before a loud clanking of the familiar armour came in the door way. It stopped for a moment, they were scanning the ballroom before one shouted "there he is!"

Techno knew this was his chance to leave, knowing they were there for him. "I'll see you soon Niki" he said before bolting off, Niki quickly stepping away, off to the side line. She had to find Eret and Fundy. The pink haired male ran through the crowd of dancing people, the guards followed him quickly, he bolted through the back door to the room and started to run down the hall, he could hear the loud constant metal clanking of the armour worn by the people following him. He was quick and light on his feet, taking turns that were sharp and running up stairs that usually creeped under foot steps. Seemingly sadly he cornered himself on a balcony, standing on the railing to see how far down the drop was, 25ft 'manageable' he thought to himself. He took a few deep breaths as to calm the growing loud whispers in the back of his mind 'not now, we don't need any unnessassary blood shed' he thought to himself as he continued to calm himself down. Then he was surrounded, they all had there swords drawn and were pointing at him "technoblade, give us one good reason we shouldn't arrest you now" one of the guard spoke up, he sounded young. "Uhh, i don't have a weapon" he said now putting his hands up.

Silence, a dence silence sat on the balcony, the head guard nodded to a few more and they started to walk over to him, Techno knew he couldn't take them all on weaponless, he might have a chance he just didn't wanna risk it. So there he was, standing on the railing of a balcony, supposedly surrounded by guards when he gave them all a small bow before taking a step back and plumiting down off the rail. They all races over to see if he had fallen. He was gone, having grabbed the edge of another balcony a few feet below he made a more, careful descent down. His feet made a connection with the ground and he started to run to where he left his horse tied up, hoping onto the saddle before ridding off, well not completely off, he rode to the small cottage at the edge of the woods and edge of the kingdom, it was Erets home, he figured that they would assume he was still in the castle and would be looking for him there, so he had a little bit of time to wait for them to make sure they left on time, he was willing to take one of them with him on horse back.

Meanwhile, in the castle, our lovely Niki was being chased down, she held up as much of her poofy dress as she could a she ran, she had found Eret and Fundy in the ballroom and told them to get out just before they started after her. Silently cursing herself for not going with the smarter first chose she was thinking of as foot wear, boots. Eret had talked her out of wearing them but she should've just worn them. Running through the castle halls, down the big main stair case and outside, she had somehow made it out without getting caught. She needed a quick way out, she saw the stables beside her and quickly went over, sadling up a horse before leaving, quickly. She was constantly checking over her shoulder to make sure they weren't following her. Reaching her small bakery she went in, grabbing what she would need, clothes, shoes, and quickly changing as well, she grabbed her cat before leaving once more. Tucking her (I think her cats a girl) into a side bag she carried on her person before riding off to Erets cottage.

Somehow the three all made it there at the same time, Niki stayed outside next to Techno on her stolen horse, The eyeless witch and the ginger fox were quick in the cottage, grabbing the essentials before coming back out and getting on a horse that they planned on sharing a ride on. The clanking of metal armour could be heard once again as the three quickly rode off, leaving the kingdom behind them and making a start for wherever the hell Techno came from in the first place.

A short and sweet one I guess, I didn't feel like writing much but still wanted to give you guys a chapter, plus my brain is still on the frizt so spelling in this one was a little harder for me oddly, anyway, see you in the next one!
