👑Chapter 11: The big tall dude

3rd POV

Y/N and the team was pulling up to Sendai city gymnasium today for the interhigh, and let's just say Tanaka already start to pick a fight with someone from a different team because they were talking down about Karasuno. Call them names like yesterday 'Fallen champion' 'flightless raven', and tho it irritated Y/N she chosed to keep calm.

Walking into the gym, they can hear murmur all around them, Yachi stand between Kiyoko and Y/N her nerves getting to her as she start to slur her words from nervousness, of course Y/N was also nervous her glasses sliding down cause she kept looking down, her leg felt like noodle the moment they enter the gym. People around talking loud enough for her to hear, some talking about how Karasuno has like three managers, some people just looked, other admire Kiyoko Yachi and Y/N mostly Kiyoko tho (I don't accept any Kiyoko slander, Kiyoko is queen. Y/N moment will come later in the book just wait)

"I'm gonna visit the bathroom real quick" said Y/N, if there's one thing you should know about Y/N it's that although she looks tough on the outside, this girl doesn't do well under pressure, perhaps it was because of a certain event that happened in the past that cause her anxiety to sky rocket when these kind of thing happened, even though she's not the player she's still felt extremely nervous for the team and the boys. Taking one final deep breath she step out of the bathroom just to bump into someone planting her butt to ground.

Aone was tying his shoelaces crouching in front of the bathroom the moment he stand up he felt a small presence behind him hitting his back with their body, he turn his head just to see a small female sitting on the cold ground rubbing her forehead looking down. He frowned at her still staring, she looked up at him with her sparkly eyes hand still rubbing her red forehead, his expression soften along with his heart 'how cute' he though, but he would never had the ball to tell her in real life despite being the big tall dude.
"Ah sorry I wasn't looking" she chuckled at him as his heart beat accelerated at the melody of her laugh, he was lovestruck right then and there.

Aone offer a hand to pull her up, her small hand taking his huge one, he wasn't the type to blush but feeling her soft hand in his definitely made his face heat up, he turn his head away still holding her hand anyone looking at this scene right now anyone would've thought that they're a couple. She brushed off the dust her pants while Aone still has his grip on her hand, she looked up at him tilting her head trying to look at his face as she tug his hand, he look back at her and his heart burst into a million piece, it's safe enough to say that it was the cutest thing he had ever seen, he closed his eyes for a bit before releasing her hand already missing the warmth of it. Aone wanted to say something but a voice from the distance beat him to it, it was Moniwa his captain
"Aone let's go why are you just standing there" he yelled, he gave his captain a nod before looking back to see that the female had already left.

Y/N was also called by Kiyoko to get the team ready so she left, she did find Aone quite cute despite his intimidating expression and the fact that he's much taller she could tell that he's just a big teddy bear on the inside. Walking back to the corner where Karasuno is located, she saw Hinata looking like his soul was leaving his body, apparently Asahi told him to get rid of his nervousness to think about the scariest event he'd ever experienced, Hinata's face loose it's color as he sit there smiling with his eyes close
"Haha I'm no longer nervous" he laugh weakly.

"Alright guys get ready, we're about to head in" Daichi said, the gang start to stand up and before they walk into the gym they encounter another team, it was Date Tech Y/N recognized the tall dude with the intimidating expression, but he has yet to see her. Instead Aone frown staring intensely at Asahi pointing at him.
"Hey stop that, it's embarrassing. Sorry he has a habit of pointing out at the opponents ace" the team Captain pop out from the back trying to get Aone to stop doing that, that's when he saw Y/N standing next to Asahi staring at him. He started to get embarrassed and avoid her gaze, Futakuchi step up to lower Aone arm when he notice the little interaction you two had, he smirked looking down at her.
"Sorry for that... But you better be ready" he looked up at Asahi and down at Y/N again.

The game started not long after, and because of the rule of 1 manager on the court Y/N and Yachi is sitting together on the bench cheering for their boys, well not really, Y/N was just staring intensely at them and Yachi barely managed to form a sentence. Technically they are cheering for them, in their head at least.

Getting out her volleyball notebook Y/N gripped the pen in her hand looking at the player on the court, she's 99% confident in their skill and knew that they were going to take this round, then there's that 1% of doubt in her heart, after all you've got to get ready for whatever is thrown at you just because your confident doesn't mean it would go smoothly. The sound of loud clapping and cheering took over the gym, but Y/N still managed to hear shuffling noise behind her, looking back it was the one person she'd hoped she wouldn't have to face today, looks like god is not on her side.

"Ah cutie-Chan, nice to see you again. So about my request-" the voice said enthusiastically as Y/N tried to block it out to concentrate on her team instead.

-Hi sorry for the lack of update last week, my brain ran out of juice, I literally tried my best to write but nothing was coming out
-I know I made Y/N bump in so many people but that's the only way to introduce a character, cause Y/N is not a socialized person. But I'm gonna try my best to write different scenarios
-I notice that my style of writing is a little repetitive and annoying to read so I'm trying a couple new styles of writing so don't be too alarmed if it wasn't the usual dialogue/monologue
-A lot of things happened this past week especially in the U.S, so I'm hoping that everyone stay safe and take care of themselves especially if you're a minority, shit is going down here and it's not looking good for minorities right now until a new leader steps up. So please stay safe and stay healthy

+I'm starting my sequel to this book right now, although it wouldn't be released anytime soon, and I did said I would add love interest in it. So if you guys want please let me know who you would want as future lover (I have my own list already but I don't mind taking requests).
