👑Chapter 13: First Love (1)

Beginning to a love story

3rd POV

Tsukishima was determined, he wanted to be close with her but being the person he is it's hard to do it but he has decided already. Ever since she first joined the team she immediately caught his sight somehow she was gentle, sweet and caring yet still is a tough girl, she was charismatic yet was quite laid back and calm, she was average base on statistics but is a rare gem in his and a couple of other guys's eyes.

Tsukishima couldn't stop himself from falling for her, heck he wasn't even aware of his feeling for her until he snapped out of it and realized every time she look at the team the way she care for the team made his heart flutter and butterfly dance in his stomach and confirm his feelings. He hated the fact that he felt this way towards her yet he doesn't regret it. The thing here is that there's also other guys trying to make a move on her, and although Tsukki is aware of that fact he still hasn't bring himself to latch on to her yet until today when he witness Y/N with Aoba Johsai's Captain and ace and Hinata. His heart ignited screaming for Tsukishima to make a move on her.

Y/N is not a professional in the love department but she's not dumb or oblivious. To tell you the truth of why she moves schools so often was because of Y/N being Y/N, she attracted others like she's the queen bee. Remember Haru? He's one of the first guy that genuinely wanted to be friend with her not just for the benefit of her being a cool, nice, popular, pretty girl.

She can read others body language and understand their thought process like a mind reader. So of course she noticed a handful of boys and sometime girls kept their eyes on her trying to get close to her, some with good intentions some with malicious intentions. And although Tsukishima was a bit hard to read she was aware of his feelings towards her consider how Yamaguchi have been pointing out they way he changed because of her.

So after Karasuno's match with Date Tech, he gathered his confidence and approaches her, his heart didn't forget to clench when he saw the sweet smile resting on her lips as her eyes gently look at him and his teammates with nothing but pure adoration, and there goes his heart he has just fell one level deeper into love with her.

"Nice job everyone, you guys did good" she hand everyone their towel as she praise the boys raising their ego, Tsukishima scoot his way standing next to her while Yamaguchi talk to him. He look down at the shorter girl trying to think of a way to catch a conversation with her but all that came out was "Tch" she heard his remarks and look up at the tall dude, "Is there a problem?" She ask in a neutral voice. Tsukishima panic slightly in his head he didn't mean for it to come out mean, barely talking to her he has already messed up, trying to find something to say, he saw a small tattoo on her wrist.

"Why do you have a tattoo?" She chuckled at the boy as he furrowed his brow in confusion "That's one way trying to catch a conversation with a girl" he cheek grew crimson realizing he just broke out of his usual being with that question. "I got it as a memory for a certain special person in my life" she caress the art on her wrist looking at it with so much love, he didn't want to ask further so he just nod lightly of course without being curious of who the special someone is, he grew slight jealous processing everything in.

"You did a good job out there, hope to see more good works from you in the future" she patted his back encouraging him, never in his life has he experienced his stomach did a flip and it did today. His ear heats up from the embarrassment as Yamaguchi witness his friend. "Tsukki are you okay? Why are you red? Are you sick" he bombarded Tsukishima with questions, he didn't even notice that Y/N has already left his side "Fine, I'm fine" Tsukki said pushing his glass up

'I'm just experiencing my first love'.
