👑Chapter 4: Managers

2nd POV

It was the next morning you got up and get ready for school. Your determine to go to the store to get some short today since we all know about that tragedy that happened yesterday. You are now on your way to school when you see Yachi walking ahead, you decided to sneak up on her

"Boo" you jumped behind Yachi
"Eek" she let a scream, she turn to look at you the culprit
"Oh my you gave me a heart attack Y/N-Chan"she said trying to calm down
"Sowwy Ya-Chan I just want to have some fun"you said cutely, she giggle at you
"Your so silly"
You both walk to class (Timeskip)

Y/N POV

It was now lunch time, I was eating with Yachi, when someone approach you it was Kiyoko
"Oh hello Kiyoko-Chan " I said looking at her smiling
"Hey Y/N-chan Can I ask you about something?"
"Yeah sure what is it?"
"We're looking for a manager for next year for the volleyball club would you like to join?"she said, turning to Yachi
"You can join also if your interested" she smile at us. This is a no brainer for you of course you wanted to join.
"Volleyball club huh?" You look at Yachi after she said that.
"Hey Ya-Chan you said you aren't in any club right? Let's join together" I said grinning
"Huh but I don't know anything about volleyball" I smile at her
"You don't have to know about it to become a manager" Kiyoko said
"Heck I was clueless too when I first became their manager"
"See?" I said
"Alright please tell me if you can or can't I have to go now bye guys" Kiyoko said, I waved her bye.

"So what do say?" I ask
"Hmm I don't know I'll think about it" she said looking at the paper Kiyoko handed to us earlier. (Time skip)

Yachi Hitoka POV

I was doing my homework when a piece of paper slipped out from my bag I picked it up and it was the application paper from this morning 'There's no reason why I shouldn't join but should I?'

<After Yachi contemplate and discuss with her mom, she finally have her answer>
(Time skip)

2nd POV

"Mornin Ya-chan" you said lazily
"Morning Y/N-Chan" Yachi replied
"So about the club's manager thingy" she said hesitating
"Yeah what do you think?" You replied sounding a bit more enthusiastic
"I'll try out to see how I like it" she said smile shyly

That phrase was like a wake up slap in the face for you as you're still sleepy, your eyes sparkled you turn to her and gave her a big bear hug almost tackling her to the ground, no word could describe how happy you were. It's not only going to be so much fun with Yachi joining but you also is excited about the fact that you and your first friend in Miyagi are going to make so much memory together.

The last bell rang for the day, as you pack your stuff up you remembered the promised you made for yourself today to go get some shorts to wear under your skirt. You look at Yachi feeling guilty.

"Hey Ya-Chan I'll have to leave for a couple of minutes to grab something, do you think you'll be okay being in the gym?" you said frowning
"Oh huh I'll be fine" she doesn't look fine, you can she started to sweat and shake a little
"D-don't worry I'll be back as fast as possible Kiyoko-San will be there too she'll guide and protect you" I said in a panic voice
"Ah ok" she said relieves still sweating a little
You smiled at her, as you two walk to the gym you were going to drop Yachi at the gym before heading to the store

Y/N POV

As I speed walk to the store while looking at my phone gps I, by the time I look up I was on an unfamiliar street 'Wakano 3-chome' the street signs said. I let out a big sigh before turning around I bumped into something or more like someone.
"Ouch" I said as my butt made contact with the ground. The person that I bumped in to stand towering over me
"Sorry" his deep voice ringing in my ear, I look up at him 'He's like a goddamn wall bruh'
"It's okay" he offer me his hand and I took it he pulled me up (more like yanking me) it made me tumble over. His other forearm supported me on my waist. I quickly stand up straight dusting off my skirt, I was blushing.

"Hey do you mind telling me where the closest clothing store is I'm new to this area" I ask looking up at him
"Sure, just walk straight down this way and turn left at the traffic light walk straight down that way and there should be a store on your right" he pointed in the opposite direction
"What's your name" I ask
"Ushijima Wakatoshi" he said
"Thank you Ushijima-san" I bowed.
I walked toward the way he pointed at finally letting out a long breathe 'he's so intimidating looking but a nice person'

Ushijima Wakatoshi POV

I looked at her as she disappeared into the sunset, girls are usually scared of me when they interact with me but she doesn't even showed an ounce of fear. I remember the moment I made eye contact with her and I suddenly felt weird in my stomach, it's not a stomachache it just felt weird. I looked down at my left hand that held her's 'Such small soft hand', somehow a smile manage to creep on my face. I turned around and continue my run back to school.
