Chapter 14: The letter you sent

I will warn all of you now I was really lazy with this chapter and didn't try that hard while creating it. I've been really tired and bored lately and damn writing is harder than I thought.

Eren's POV:

Today is yet again another day of school. The current period I'm in is Science with Mr. Erwin. My next period is going to be Art with my father.

We're apparently learning a new unit about the anatomy of a titan's body. Though, Mr. Erwin was explaining it in the worst way possible. He is so boring today. Usually, he's enthusiastic about teaching science. But, if anything today he looks really out of it. And I don't know why.

After a few minutes, the bell finally rang loud and clear. I quickly snatched my homework, notebooks, and computer and stuffed them into my bookbag.

I hoisted my bookbag up and walked out of the science room. I trailed down the halls trying to find my friends Armin, Mikasa, Sasha, and Conny. Oh, and I can't forget Levi. As I kept searching through the halls I felt a hand get placed on my shoulder. I looked to my side and saw a familiar blonde with his ever so famous sweet smile.

" Hey, Eren..." He said.

"Oh hi, Armin." I smiled back at him. " So... How was your day so far."

"It was good," I answered

" Hey did you ask your partner Levi if he can join us Saturday?"

" No, I haven't yet." I sighed. " I keep forgetting."

" Maybe you can ask him in class?" Armin suggested.

" Yeah, I should," I replied.

Me and Armin finally got to art class. Everyone else was already in the room seated waiting for the teacher. Well everyone except for Levi.

"Oi... Eren. Where's your partner? Doesn't he sit next to you in class? His chair is empty." Armin whispered

" I don't know," I whispered back at him.

"Oh well. We can't keep standing here. Let's go in before Mr. Jaeger comes." Armin states. He walked inside quickly shuffling to his seat while I was slowly following behind him. I took my chair and pulled it back causing a small creaking noise to emit from it. I sat in my chair and put my book bag down on the floor.

I wonder why he's not here. Maybe he's sick. But, If he was sick he would have probably told me that he wasn't gonna be at school I thought. Or maybe he's ditching. Though Levi doesn't seem like the type of person to ditch. He's smart enough to know that ditching just isn't right.

So where is he?

" Hello everyone welcome back for another day of Art class." Mr. Jaeger announced making me pull back to reality. " We are going to look at past collages of student photos to give you guys an idea of what the project should look like. Hopefully, you will get inspired and have an idea of what your project should look like. But, before we do this as you know we must do attendance."

After a few minutes attendance finally finished. The only problem was that my father skipped Levi's name. This got me very suspicious. Generally, if someone's not there they still call their name and write them down as tardy or absent. He didn't do that.

I sighed and laid my head down on the wooden desk below me. " Ok, so now that attendance is finished I'm going to show all the past student collage's through a slideshow presentation. I'm going to have to use the projector though so While I'm setting this up I want you all to talk to your partners about your project." He stated firmly. I instantly shot my hand up high to get my father's attention. " Uhm. Mr. Jaeger. My partner isn't here today. What exactly do I do?" I said. "Oh. Well, Eren I'm guessing your partner is Levi Ackerman right?"
