" Thanks, Reiner," I muttered as he placed a sticky note on my desk. He nodded before going on
to the next desk beside him.
From the corner of my eye, I looked up at Mr. Jaeger who was currently observing the whole class. I averted my attention from him to Eren who looked like he was in a daze. In fact, when is this kid never in a daze?
Whenever I look at him he always is in his own world. I mean there's nothing wrong with that but, I can't help to wonder what he ever thinks about.
Unless his mind is just blank and he thinks of nothing... But, I highly doubt that
" Thank you, Reiner, for passing out the sticky notes. You guys can write down the number of photos you've gotten... And... Annie! You can return them all to me once everyone's finished." Mr. Jaeger said, causing me to nearly jump out of my seat.
Annie rolled her eyes and lazily nodded.
I groaned and lifted my head up from my desk. Here we go again, I thought to myself while grabbing my pencil. I wrote 4/50 photos onto my sticky note and lowered the pencil down.
I feel like I just signed a petition to get yelled at by the teacher.
I sighed at my own thought and yet again looked over at Eren. Still, he was in his daze, not muttering a single word.
Eren Jaeger, what in the world are you thinking about? I pondered as I looked over his face. I noticed that his eyes were half-lidded and he was resting his chin on the palm of his hand, while his fingers were cupping his cheek and his other was resting on the wooden desk below him.
It was a pretty indolent posture. Not to mention, his eyes green looked slightly dull, within the lights of the classroom. They weren't the usual bright green or blue I see every day. Or whatever color they are... At this point, I can't truly tell. Are they green or are they blue?
He says they're a plain green... But, I don't see them like that.
They look like the different tints shades of the ocean combined into one thing. The oceans blue right? But can also have a mix of green within it. Yeah, that would be a decent way to describe his eye color. It looks like a mix of the ocean's rarest tones.
" Eren, Levi..." I heard a voice lazily groan. " Levi, stop checking out Eren and hand me your sticky note. Also, Eren gets out of your damn daze and hands me yours too." She said bluntly, and out loud.
Quickly, Eren jolted awake, and I lowered my head in embarrassment, feeling my face heat up for the second time.
Wait did it really look like I was checking him out??? Why would she even say that out of the blue!? That was so abrupt
Where did she even come from!? I wasn't actually checking him out??? Why would I even do that!? I'm a guy, why would I check out another male!? I was only thinking about his eye color. Does that count as checking someone out!?
" What-" I heard him say. " Just give me your sticky note." Annie sighed. " M-my sticky note?" Eren nervously asked her.
" Were you not listening to Mr. Jaeger at all?" Annie questioned him.
