Chapter 4: Lunchroom fight

Hanji's POV:

 Class was over and I was already running down the hallway to get to my locker. It's lunchtime now the only free period we really get at school. I was never a fan of school lunch. For various reasons. School lunch is just gross disgusting and tastes bland. I don't get why people don't bring their own lunch as I do.

Finally, I got to my locker only to fumble with the combination lock. Once I got my locker open I finally got my lunch and ran to the cafeteria. Once I got there I spotted my friends Gunther, Levi, and Isabel sitting together at a table nearby the double doors. 

" Hi, guys." I smiled as I settled my food upon the table. " Oh, hi Hanji." Isabel instantly beamed. " Hello," Gunther said, and, Levi was left silent. 

Isabel Magnolia and Gunther Shultz. Me and Levi met them both during our freshman year of high school. Gunther and Levi were pretty close just like how I and Isabel were close too. 

Isabel had a major crush on Levi around that time and she made it really obvious too. She would tend to get nervous or shy around Levi which was really out of her character. She never confessed to him though, she said it was only because she realized how unrequited her love was for Levi. So, because of that, her feelings subsided. She started calling Levi "big bro" for some reason. I guess it was a way to cope with the heartbreak.

" Hi, Levi... I see you feeling better now." I said. he only hummed in response. " Levi, are you going to keep ignoring me?" I whined only for him to give me a slight eye roll. I rolled my eyes back out of irritation of the raven hair not paying any mind to me. I sighed and picked up an apple off from the dirty cafeteria floor. " Levi heads up." 

and before he could respond I threw the apple at him. Hitting him straight in the chest. The raven-haired panicked looking from side to side to see where the apple came from.

" what in the?" he whispered clawing his pale hands into his hair. I heard the slight sound of laughter coming from my side. Isabel held her hand up to her mouth trying to muffle the sounds of giggles that were going to emit from it. Gunther was also laughing too.

" Your reaction! Hanji, take a picture" Gunther laughed. I dug through my pocket, my hand searching for my phone. I pulled it out and took a quick pic of Levi's face.

" What the hell Hanji!??" he grunted. before I could comprehend it I felt something hard hit my face. " Oww..." I whined as I held my cheek.

"shitty midget." 

"shitty glasses" he replied back.

" Say it again or else I leak these photos to the whole school!" Levi only smirked and threw another fruit at my face. 

"pfft-" I heard Isabel chuckle a bit. " Shut your trap or your next!" I said as I grabbed another apple from the floor. She instantly covered her mouth with her hands. From the corner of my eye, I saw another apple came coming my way.

" Ow... Why do you keep throwing apples at me!"

" you started it" Levi shrugged. I grabbed the apple off the floor and threw it back at him only for him to catch it. " too slow..." he said.

I rolled my eyes and sat down. " Your such a bully" I whined. The raven only replied with a sigh and looked away from me. 

"you're so mean Levi apologize." Isabel joked. " I know right. He keeps hearting my poor little heart. I can't take it." I joked.

" Oh, your poor heart Hanji." He said sarcastically.

Before I could respond the school bell ringed indicating that it was time for us to leave. " Well, you guys know that sound..." Isabel said. " time for us to go." she smiled.

I sighed and looked over at Levi. " I'll get payback for this Levi," I said to him. 

" We'll see..." The raven teased. I sighed and left my friends behind in the cafeteria.
