I briefly explained what a "safe word/action" was in the "Scripting" chapter, but I'll go more in-depth now.
A safe word/action is what you can say or do to get out of your DR. You can have one or the other, or even both, if you feel safer with 2 choices.
Some examples of a safe word are:
-"Take me back home"
-"Back to my CR"
or you can have random words such as:
-"Rose"
-"Plate"
-"Fan"
Some examples of a safe action are:
-"When I clap 3 times, I'll go back to my CR"
-"When I snap 5 times, I'll go back to my CR"

Safe words are NOT NECESSARY to include in your script. You physically CANNOT get stuck in your DR. If you were to choose not to script a safe word/action, or just forgot, then you could just think about your CR and you should shift back. Another method is to get killed, unless you scripted that you were immortal.
Shifting back to your CR is much easier than going to you DR, however, I still strongly recommend scripting a safe word/action, since it makes your shifting experience 100x easier.
