A/N - Explaining some things

Ok, I'm creating this as I may forget to give an explanation to everyone later down the road for this story and if I do remember then the explanation may not fit into the generalists that may be going on in that scene.

Ok, this AU of the Empireverse goes like this;

-This world is more situated in the Victorian Age but its more advanced thanks to magic and them actually considering things that others may not see. To which lead them to discovering that everyone is inclined to some type of magic. For example; Say you come from a family of pyromaniacs and love the very flames themselves then if you go to see a specialized doctor to see where you may be inclined, you find yourself more attracted to flames and find out that your magic is flame oriented and more suited to things that work with flames or fire/heat in general.

-This has actually lead to many disputes as some wanted other magics and this eventually to the creation of a medicine that can change your very being to another magic but that has lead to multiple deaths as many could not take the change and those that did survived led a hollow life as they felt something very important to them was taken away and they could never have it back. The medicine was destroyed but the deed was done as many have looked at the higher ups in suspicion and never trusted them for a long time.

-There never really was a true Tree of Feelings in this AU. Yes, Nightmare and Dream came from somewhere and told of a Tree of Feelings but the Tree's died after a few months of being made and none really stuck around. Both Nightmare and Dream came from a Tree of Feelings but they never really became guardians since the Tree's died too early for them to really become them. So you can say that Genesis(Gen) is the REAL Tree of Feeling's as it can't be killed nor destroyed unless it wants to die of its own accordance. Deva will actually become its first vessel/guardian as Deva created Gen.

-Deva is actually a perfect balance between light and dark magic. A true neutral in sense. But he is actually inclined towards the Void, Time, Space, and Cosmic Magic. So, he in sense can change the VERY reality of the AU with the snap of his fingers or with one thought but he never does as he doesn't see the benefit of it. The reason he is inclined with those four is thanks to his rebirth.

-Magic, as a sense in this AU, is just energy at best. Magic is just energy given form from the the very BEINGS and personalities of the monsters and humans it inhabits. Deva, when he was human, loved the very universe/omniverse itself. He studied up on Space, Time, the very emptiness of the Void, and the Cosmic universe itself. Plus, magic becomes more powerful the more you train it, control it, and the VERY intent/belief you have in it.  If you believe your magic is weak then it will reflect that in return. No magic is in a sense weak unless you intend to make it weak. And Deva knew how powerful he can be with magic from books, tv shows, and how people talk in how old world. So, his magic reflected that back and this is why he is so powerful.

-Gen is also overpowered because of the magic of Deva and having some of Deva's traits in him. Gen loves to feel emotions/feelings so his magic will be more towards that magic than anything. He can dabble in other like Deva but only magic that Gen feels will greatly benefit him.

-Magic can be passed down, some have even left imprints of there magic to teach there legacies or others to use it. There really in no evil magic, only evil users or intent, plus magic actually becomes more effect from strong emotions. If you have a more desire to protect than your magic becomes enhanced along with strong negative emotions. So, Nightmare and Dream are really powerful as they can basically enhance their allies/friends from there emotions and there magic does the rest.

-The sun and moon markings are to actually show what type of magic your more inclined with, of which will be more darker(moon) or more lighter(sun) but it has been known to be wrong from time to time. Having both markings gives you the title, 'Heaven's Child'. There are two record of these people and they are known to do the impossible.
