Third Person POV - in an alleyway at night

The phone rung within Roy Harper's pocket. He pulled it out, putting it to his ear.

'Hey, what's up?'

'Just came back from visiting my mom,' Thea replied over the phone.

'Really? Good for you.'

'So what do you say?' Thea asked. 'You ready to start spending your nights safe with me?'

'Absolutely.' He looked over and heard grunting and a woman screaming. 'Hey, I'm going to pick us up some Big Belly Burger right now. I'll see you later.'

'Okay,' she replied and he hung up the call. He walked up to the men who were in the process of trying to rape the woman. She screamed and squirmed in the man's grasp.

'We just want to be friendly,' the man who seemed to be the leader said. 'What, we scare you or something?'

'Yeah, I think you do,' Roy said. They turned to him. 'Me though, not so much.' He looked at the woman. 'Run.' She ran off, sobbing. They walked closer to him, then they began to fight. Punches were thrown, but Roy dodged and ducked most of them, until he was punched in the side. He backed away, hissing in pain. Just then a woman with a skin-tight black suit and blonde hair rushed in with a black bo staff, expertly taking down the men. A few more punches were thrown, but all Roy could do was sit back and watch in awe. When she had taken them down, she ran up on top of a brick wall. 'Where in the hell did you come from?' he gasped out to the woman. She looked at him but said nothing. Then, in a flash, she jumped off of the ledge.

Evelyn Queen's POV

Felicity, Oliver and I entered the room of the new and improved Arrow/Athena base of operations.

'Well, it looks like Starling is back down to only one man in a hood,' Diggle commented.

'Hey!' I shouted. 'What about me?' I raced over to the panel. Being satisfied that it was speaking about Athena as well, I stepped back. 'I rest my case. My hero-ness is justified.' Oliver laughed.

'Yes, sis. You're included too.'

'Thank you,' I said, wrapping an arm around him.

'And the four of us are back in the archery business?' Felicity asked.

'No.' This made us all turn and look at him. 'I spent the past year trying to avenge my father. If we're going to do... this, it has to be about honoring Tommy. I need to become the man he hoped I would be. You three have helped me take the first step.'

'So what's step two?' Felicity asked. 'I'm game for anything as long as it doesn't involve skydiving. And I'm pretty down on landmines, too.'

'Oh, shut up, Felicity. You know the skydiving was cool,' I said.

'It was terrifying.' I said nothing, only rolled my eyes in response.

'The city still needs saving. But not by the Hood and Athena. And not by some vigilantes who are just crossing names off of a list. It needs...' and at this he sighed, 'something more.'

'It needs a hero, Oliver,' Diggle said. I came up to him as Felicity said,

'It's too bad the Hoods kind of ruined your nickname.'

'Damn right they did.'

'It's okay, I never... I don't want to be called the Hood anymore.'

'Okay,' I said, facing him. 'So what do you want to be called?' He said nothing, only looked down to the green arrow in his hand.
