Oliver grabbed his bow from the glass case, already suited up.
'At least let us surround the perimeter,' Diggle said as Oliver was preparing to leave to go rescue Thea.
'No. Isabel was very clear. I come alone or Thea dies.'
'Ollie, this is another one of Slade's games, and unless -'
'No, what I can't do, Sara, is nothing!' Oliver yelled. I felt everything in me stiffen at Oliver's yelling. 'What would you do if it were Laurel, or your father, or your mother? I will not get dragged into the same debate over and over again!'
'Go,' Felicity's quiet voice spoke, loud and clear from the desk. I saw Oliver visibly relax. She walked up to him. 'Go get Thea. Stop Slade. Do whatever it takes. End this once and for all.' His eyes flicked up to us, then he turned and walked away. I slumped against the desk, letting out a breath.
'I can't just sit here,' I said aloud. 'I know Oliver has to go alone, but -' My voice cracked and I let out a shuddering breath. 'I'm so worried. For him, for Thea. They're all I've got left.' Diggle walked forward to the bench where I was, and swallowed me up in his gentle embrace, allowing me to sob into his shoulder, while he stroked my hair gently.
At the Tosca Cartage building...
The Arrow ran, taking down men as he went.
Meanwhile, a truckful of prisoners was driving on a road in a large bus. Slade, wearing the Deathstroke battle suit, walked into the middle of the road, forcing the bus to stop in its tracks.
'Stop. Stop,' the passenger guard said.
Back at the building...
The Arrow took down more men. Finding a door, he exploded the lock with a trick arrow and kicked the door down, only to find an empty chair, and an empty room.
Back on the road...
One of the guards came out with his gun raised at Slade.
'Halloween was six months ago, ass-hat. Now get off the road or get put down. You hear me?' Without warning, Slade drew his katana from behind his back and threw it into the man's chest. He toppled over, dead. Drawing his pistol, he shot the other two guards in the bus right between the eyes. The prisoners gathered at the front of the bus, watching Slade as he beckoned them with a come-hither motion. They stood in front of Slade.
'I have a proposal for you men.'
Back at the storage building...
Oliver rang the Bluetooth line. Felicity picked up.
'Go!' Oliver said over the line, but Felicity ignored it.
'Oliver, are you okay?'
'Yeah, I'm fine, but Thea's not here.'
'You did it.'
'Did what?'
'Thea's fine. She's fine. She walked into the precinct five minutes ago. Safe and sound.'
'What...' he said, distracted.
'Oliver, did you hear me?'
