"Fall on me" A Matteo Bocelli story.

Friends?

  " Yeah?" This was it! Matteo asking me to be his girlfriend.

"Will you maybe come with me to the house before I leave,I think I forgot something over there." He said.

"Oh of course." I said. 

"You okay?" 

"Yeah definitely." I smiled.

We walked to my car and dad came out, "what's wrong?" 

"Matteo forgot something at the house?" I said.

"Ok,ya'll be careful." 

"We will." I said getting in the car.I drove to the place and Matteo got out,but I stayed inside the car. He looked back at me and gestured me to come in. I gave him the hand motion to go on inside. He told me to come again and I got out. He smiled and opened the door to the house. I walked in behind him and he went to the upstairs. I waited downstairs and he came back down like 2 minutes later with nothing. Maybe it was in his pocket,"You ready?" I asked.

  "not quite." He said reaching his hand in his pocket. He pulled out a necklace box and handed it to me. 

"Matteo,you didn't have to." 

"I wanted to,you are a great person and you have been a great friend to me as well. To trust me with everything that went on with your sister."
  "No you are a great friend, I should be getting you something. You trusted me with a lot and you risked your life for us." I smiled.I opened the box and it was a beautiful diamond rose necklace with matching earrings, "Matteo,I can't accept this."

" No,let this be a gift to you for doing the video and being brave this whole time. I see the way Kat looks up to you and she adores you. Me knowing the person you are,makes me realize that Kat is looking up to a fantastic sister." Matteo said.

"Thank you." I smiled. 

"May I put it on?" 

"yeah." I said taking it out the box and heading the necklace to him. My hair was in a bun so all I did was turn around and he put the necklace on. I had a tank top on and his hand brushed my back and I jumped.

 "You okay?" 

"Yeah." I said.I looked down and smiled,it was so beautiful. "Thank you." 

   "You're welcome,it looks beautiful on you" He said, "Rosalyn, I can't do this anymore."

"Do what?" 

"Can I kiss you?" 

My heart jumped on the inside, " yeah." 

He got closer to me and I could feel his minty breath on my lips and then his lips on mine. We kissed,we kissed. After almost kissing in the ballet studio to now. It was worth the wait. He put his hand on my face and then backed away, "Wow."

"Wow." I smiled.

"I've been waiting for that since we almost kissed in the ballet studio." 

"Really?" 

"Yeah,I know I kept saying friends today,but Rosalyn my feelings for you have grown so much. I'm so in love with you. I wanted to ask you out the first time I saw you,but I guess it wasn't the time.So I'm asking now will you go on a date with me?" 

" Of course I will." 

"You will?!" 

"Yes,but when?"

"Oh man I'm leaving, well maybe I can  fly you to Italy one day next week and we can have a date there. I have the perfect spot,what do you say?"

"Okay." I smiled.

We headed back to my car and headed home. Matteo got on his jet and left and I walked back home in love. "Whats wrong with you,where did you get that necklace?" mom asked.

" Matteo got it for me,for being a great friend." I said.

"Hmm a diamond necklace for being a friend?" Mom said.

"Yeah that's what happened first,but then he asked me on a date in Italy." 

"Really!Aww that's so sweet!" 

"I know right,I'm so excited to go." 

"When?"

"Next week."

"Okay,make sure its not the day you're open for the shop." 

"I will,thanks mom."

"If you need help with anything let me know." Mom said hugging me.

"Thank you mom." I said.

I went to my room and Kat came in, "you're going back to italy?"

"Next week for a date."

"Aww I guess it would be awkward if I  come huh?"

"Ask mom when it gets closer for me to leave." I said.

"Ok." Kat said.

She ran out of my room and smiled.

The day before the date: So I was getting ready for the date tomorrow. I got my clothes ready and no makeup, I only wear makeup if I have a ballet competition or ballroom dancing,but for a date nah. Mom said Kat could come only if Matteo said it was okay. I didn't even bring it up with him yet.

 "Call from Matteo!" My phone said.

I answered, "hello."

"Hey Rosalyn,how are you?" He asked.

"Hey Matteo,I'm good, how about you?" 

"I'm good my darling,so Virginia wants to meet Kat,actually my family wants to meet your family,so would they like to come tomorrow?"

"Wow Kat was just asking if she could come,but mom told me to check with you first." I laughed.

"Yeah its definitely fine with me,"he laughed, "what about your parents?"

"I'll ask them at dinner tonight." 

"Okay let me know love.I have to go my dad and I are about to perform."

"Perform,what time is there again?"

"almost noon." 

"Ooh, I know you guys are going to do great,have fun."

"Always do,thank you." 

"You're welcome,bye."

"Bye." He said.

I hung up and went to wash up for dinner. We were having spaghetti and I was so excited. I loved spaghetti,I could eat it all day everyday. I joined my family in the dining room and we prayed and ate. 

  "so Matteo said we could all come tomorrow to Italy. His parents would like to meet you." I said.

"Hmm really,that sounds like a plan." Mom said.

"Yeah,we don't have anything plan for the weekend,maybe we can stay the weekend."

"I'll find a hotel after dinner" mom said.

"Well mom,maybe Matteo can recommend some." I laughed.

" Right." mom said.

We talked about Italy and then other things. 

I couldn't believe I was going on an actual date with Matteo,my first official date,my first kiss. Yes I'm 19 and never had a kiss or lost my virginity and that's okay. I want it to be special and I want to be married. I wish people wouldn't make a big deal about not being kissed or still being a virgin,that's my choice and it's okay girls, love yourself before getting into an relationship. Sorry off topic.

  A date with Matteo,I couldn't wait.
