"Fall on me" A Matteo Bocelli story.

Awkward

"Rosalyn,hey." Matteo said

"Hey Matteo." I said.

"Umm.hi." Josh said.

"Hey." Matteo said keeping his poseur.

"Do you two know each other?" Josh asked.

"yes we do." I said, "just old friends."

"yeah old friends." Matteo said.

"Oh,well I'm Josh nice to meet you." Josh said holding out his hand.

"Matteo." Matteo said shaking Josh's hand, " I'm guessing you two met at Juilliard?"

"Yes we did."Josh said

"Guys just hanging out?" Matteo asked

" Yeah,we're on a date." Josh said.

I looked at him confused, "we are." 

"yes." He said looking at me.

" Oh,well that's cool, I better get going. Nice seeing you." Matteo said walking off.

"How do you know him?" Josh asked.

"Do you not know who that is?" I asked.

"No."

"Andrea Bocelli's son,Matteo." 

"Ohhh,wait did ya'll do that video together?"

"Mhm." 

"Oh wow."

"Yeah and also I didn't know this was a date."

"Oh yeah,no one never hangs out with Josh,it usually turns into a date." He said trying to kiss me again.

"Well actually this was us getting to know each other."

"A date,no one kisses like that on a hang out." He tried to kiss me again.

I pushed him back, "Umm,well I wasn't planning to kiss you Josh." 

"How about we go back to my place,so I can show you my favorite instruments." 

"Oh maybe another time."

"Right now is the perfect time." He said looking into my eyes.

"I better get back to school."

"But you said you were done." 

"Well,you better get back,your lunch is almost over." 

"Yeah." He said getting up.

Whew,that was awkward. We walked to his car and got in. We headed back to school and I got out fast and went to my car. "Have a nice day." 

"Where you going?" 

"Oh,I have school work."

"Maybe I can come by later to help,what's your address."

"Oh its fine,maybe another time."

"Oh okay." He said and went inside the school.I got in and went to my apartment. I showered and headed to sleep. I was heading back home tomorrow.

Around 2am I heard a knock on the door, I texted the girls to see if they were at my door,they said no. Then I texted Matteo to see if it was him,he said no as well. It couldn't have been anyone else except security. They knocked again and I got up and slowly went to the door. I looked through the peephole and it was Josh,how did he know I lived here. 

 Text from Matteo: Hey is everything okay,did you find out who it was?

Me:Its Josh,but he's not suppose to be here.I called the campus police and told them Josh's name.

Matteo didn't reply back.

 He knocked again and then said, "Rosalyn,can I come in?" He sounded weird.

I didn't say anything,I just stared until I finally got the courage to say something, "Josh,its late."

" I know,but I just want to talk to you." He said twisting the door knob. 

"Go away Josh,I'll see you tomorrow." I said walking away. I called campus security and they said they were on their way. 

"Come on darling,that kiss I can't get it out of my head. I want you and you want me. I know you kissed Matteo liked that. I have something he wants,but can't have..you."

"What are you talking about?"

"Matteo wants you,I saw it all over his face,now let me in." He kicked the door. 

Where is the campus security. 

"Go away Josh." I said.

"No." He said.All of a sudden I heard a thud on the door and grunts. "You idiot."  " Hey,let me go." Josh said.

I looked through the peephole and saw Matteo, "You idiot, you are the idiot. Showing up here at an ungodly hour,what's wrong with you?" 

" She wants to see me."

"No she doesn't." Matteo said.

"Alright thats enough you two." I heard another voice say. 

" Sir, he's harassing me." Josh said.

"Nice try Josh,I got a call about you." The security said.

"Really Rosalyn." Josh said angrily, " I wasn't going to hurt you." 

I opened the door and Matteo got between Josh and I. 

" Who are you?" The security asked Matteo

"I'm a friend of Rosalyn's,i came when she told me someone was at her door." Matteo said, "the other guard let me in."

"Do you know him?" Security asked me, I nodded my head, "okay,well Josh let's go."

" See you in school." Josh said smiling at me.

They left and it was just Matteo and I, "Matteo I didn't know you would come." I said.

"I'm glad I did,he's been drinking." Matteo said.

"Thank you." I said hugging him. Being in his arms again,felt nice. I let go quickly, "I'm sorry." 

  "You're fine,I've missed that." Matteo said.I was still a little shaken up and being on my own right now didn't sit right with me,I didn't want to call the girls because it was late,should I ask Matteo,umm. " Would you like me to stay?"

"What about Roxanne?" Seriously Rosalyn.

"What about her?"

" Shouldn't you get home to her." 

"Rosalyn,your apartment almost got broken into,I'm comforting a friend." 

"Oh." 

"Would you like me to stay?" 

"Yes,thank you." I said opening my door. 

We went inside and he got on the couch. He took off his shoes and laid down. "goodnight Rosalyn."

"Goodnight Matteo." I said going into my bedroom. 

Matteo may have just saved my life tonight.
