They were flooding his mind at the moment. He had drove away from the crime scene just after he shot the man and assigned jacob to handle all the mess.

Why did he do that?!
Dammit he just put his job at stake.

They clearly stated they needed the man alive, yet he just shot the man.

What made him do that?

Yes

This one thing was clear,

He definitely felt an invisible pull towards that girl and his heart just told him to pull the trigger or something very bad would happen.

Something that would affect his life as well. His heart controlled the situation.
Which hasn't happened in years.

Go to hell heart! He thought.

He was now at his usual meet up point with Jacob.

He was waiting for jacob .

His body weight resting on his hips which was leaned against his bike. Arms crossed , eyes closed, almost a thousand wrinkles made on his forehead as he had crunched his nose upwards, annoyed at himself. His bike was parked beside a favorite bar of him.

He sighs and facepalms , rubbing his face , pulling his hands down on his face. A hand bumps his shoulder, as he looks up at the intruder to his thoughts.

Jacob.

He gets up and heads inside with him.
The door gets opened by a waiter, on whose face a huge bright smile was plastered as always. He felt like sunshine himself.

"Welcome back sirs, hoseok at your service" the waiter mockingly salutes Lee and Jacob . Jacob just chuckles and ruffles the boys hair and moves forward as lee just nods grumpily and moves behind jacob.

They both sit by the bar . Jacob calls the bartender as lee just rests his head on the bar table, looking at the cat faced man play the piano with every drop of passion in him , and the bunny faced boy singing his heart out matching with the pianist . As always he just closes his eyes and enjoys the song. But the song seemed too joyful for his taste.

" Yoongi , Kook " he says grabbing the cat face and bunny face.

" Change the song into something more depressing " he says and turns his head away.

They both just smile and play lee's favorite sad songs.

Jacob pats lee's shoulders grabbing his attention.

" What will you take? " He asks.

"the usual , just a bit stronger this time" he mumbles.

Jacob just nods and call the bartender

"Yo chim, two vodkas , extra strong please"

Lee was resting his head on the table, eyes closed. He speaks up

" How's kimmy ? "

Jacob looks at him surprised.

" How do you know her name? " Jacob asks.

This made lee snap his eyes open and lift his head off the table.

" I-... I don't know... ?" He unsurely states.

Jacob just shrugs, " I must've mentioned it "

"Maybe.." lee says and gulps down the whole drink in one go.

" By the way, Agent V is gonna be here anytime now, he needs to talk about the case" jacob states as he takes a small sip of his drink and scrunches his face as the drink burned his throat.

"Damn, why" lee says and closes his eyes .

"Ah Taehyung you're here" jacob says as he stands up to shake hands with the officer, while lee just mumbled mimicks and kept gulping down drinks.

Taehyung takes a seat beside lee as he order his drink.

" So , you messed up " taehyung starts the conversation with bad news already.

"Now, just because you killed that man, the case became lengthy, one of you must go and investigate until the case is solved. No more words " tae said and just stood up nodding at jacob and forbidding the bartender to serve the drink. He leaves.

" You're going ." Jacob spills as the matchmaking plans were dancing in his mind already.

Lee just curses under his breath and gets up. He pushes his hair back eith his long slender fingers and turns around to leave .

He leaves the bar grumpily and hops onto his bike without any delay heading home.

The last thing he needed was to think too much about it. He just needed to go home and sleep. Sleep the thoughts away. He'll go investigate after he wakes up.
