The Mud

A week had passed by since you came to Harako, you all planned to leave tomorrow morning.

Everyone asked around for directions to any near by city by the other people in the town. The nearest city was 30 miles (48 km) from Harako.

"Ugh that's so far away." You whined falling on the couch.

"It's not even that bad stop complaining." Killua told you throwing a pillow at you. "Get up."

"It is a lot." You said turning around on your back. "I'm gonna go on a walk... Outside I'll be back soon." You said getting up.

"You're taking a walk after just complaining about it, you're so weird." Killua rolled his eyes, you started walking to the door. "Be safe."

"I will." You smiled and rolled your eyes.

You walked outside and walked into the alley next to the inn, you sighed and sat down.

You stared at the brick wall across from you well your thoughts drifted away.

Someone tapped you on the shoulder lightly and slid down by you.

It was Gon, "you okay?" He asked looking at you.

You looked him back in the eyes, then looked down at your feet.

"Yeah... It's just, I was thinking and... I just realized, what am I going to do?" You said hesitantly look up at him.

"What do you mean?" He asked sweetly and confused.

"I- where am I going to go, I can't go home... I'm only 15... So I can't really live on my own... So what am I going to do?" You stuttered.

"Oh..." Gon looked down sadly for a quick second then looked up again, "We'll figure it out, we all will together." He put his hand on your knee reassuringly.

You smiled, "you swear?"

"I swear." He said smiling wildly at you, "let's go inside, it's cold." He stood up and reached his hand out to help you get up.

"What are you guys doing." Killua said standing in the road watching you guys confused.

"Oh nothing." Gon smiled, Killua was looking down at your hands his eyebrows creased, you let go once you got up fully.

"You've been out here so long, are you okay?" Killua asked.

"Yeah I'm fine, I was just thinking." You said well starting to walk.

"Thinking about what?" He asked you.

"Nothing important." You said walking next to him.

"Are you okay though?" Killua asked sweetly.

"Yeah I'm fine." You said smiling at him.

The next morning you all packed your bags and started on your long walk.

"So your going to carry my bags right?" Killua said shoving his bag at your chest, it fell to your feet.

"No way, you cheated remember?" Grabbing the bag and pushing it to him.

You all kept walking for awhile in the rain, everyone was soaked from it.

Soon after it started to thunderstorm and the rain started to pour.

"How long have we been walking?" You asked.

"We're almost there I think, we've walked more than half." Gon said.

"Ugh, why has it been raining to much." You whinnied stomping. You slipped and fell in to the mud underneath you.

Killua turned around fast almost catching you but he was to late. He started laughing at you well you were sitting in the mud angrily.

"You are the most clumsiest person ever." He said laughing, you took a pile of mud and threw it at his head.

He dodged it, "stop being a baby and get up." He said trying to muffle his laughs.

You heard Gon laughing, "You guys are so cute-" You threw a handful of mud at his face before he could finish.

"Don't you dare." You said giving him an evil stare, Gon then bent down and so did Killua. They both threw a handful of mud at you.

You screamed and tried to duck, they both laughed when the mud hit your face.

"Ok I deserve that..." You said annoyedly then you grabbed a handful of mud and threw it at Killua, and then Gon did to. "You needed to get a little dirty, so we are all even now." You said smiling.

"You really want to get a face full of mud." Killua said seriously, just then mud hit the side of your face.

Gon was laughing, he threw it at you, then Killua threw mud at his face.

After that it turned into a mud war, you all kept throwing balls of mud at each other.

Once the mud hit your face the pouring rain would wash it mostly away.

"Y/N you're going down!" Killua yelled over the rain.  

"I'd like to see you try Granny." You threw mud at his stomache.

Just then you got hit by a huge mud pile and you flew back, so did Killua.

You both hit the ground in the soft mud, Gon was on his knees almost in tears from laughing.

"GON!!!" You and Killua yelled at him, you bounced back up and started rapidly firing mud balls at him.

You all started laughing with each other, you all were covered head to toe in mud.

Everyone washed the mud off by using the rain water. Killua rubbed mud out of his hair and then ran his hand through his hair.

"You still have mud everywhere." Killua said walking closer to you. He reached out and rubbed mud off of your cheek.

"Oh... Thanks." Your cheeks turned red. "Should we keep walking or take a break?"

"Let's keep going!" Gon yelled pointing into the distance, "It'll get dark soon so let's go fast."

"So what is this city we're going to." You asked.

"It's called Marioka, I don't know much about it really, but I know it has an airport so we can leave anytime." Killua said.

You all finally made it to Marioka, it was a small city with a small airport, you all planned to fly somewhere else n a couple days.
