The Plane

After spending a night in Marioka you all booked a plane ticket to a big city called Atsugi.

So far it's been around a month since you ran away with Killua, you and Gon have also gotten closer.

You started noticing small things about Killua like how he always runs his hands through his hair, like how he always puts his hands in his pockets for no reason, and he always smiles with the corner of his mouth.

You have no clue why you just started noticing these small things, but you thought they were all really cute.

Killua kept popping up in your head when you didn't want him to, his eyes, laugh, smile, hair, anything about him really.

You were waiting at the airport for your flight with Killua, Gon was off getting food.

You were sitting right next to Killua, his knees were touching yours you smiled slightly.

"What?" Killua said looking at you.

"What?" You asked.

"What are you smiling at?" He asked you.

"Oh nothing." You smiled a bit more, then your frowned, you had a weird feeling in your gut, like something bad was going to happen.

"What now?-" Killua looked up and frowned, "we need to leave, where's Gon?"

"Huh, why?" You asked.

"We need to get on the plane, where's Gon?" He said worriedly, he grabbed your hand and pulled you up with him.

It was weird that he grabbed your hand instead of your arm, he always pulls you by your arm.

He started walking with your hand in his pulling you to find Gon. Gon was in a line getting food at a restaurant.

"We got to get on the plane, come on, we need to go now." Killua said seriously to Gon.

"Wait, why?" Gon asked.

"I'll explain on the plane, come on." Killua started to drag you again to the area you were waiting at for the plane. "Can we board the plane now? My friend here, has trouble being this close to strangers without having anxiety and when she is she starts to throw up." He lied to the lady who was letting people into the plane and checking tickets.

Killua pulled your arm as a sign for you to start acting, you went close to Killua and hid your head into his chest. You started to shake and sniff like you were crying. He wrapped one arm around your head and stoked your hair, you started blushing but no one could see.

"Oh yes of course, just show me your tickets." Killua showed her all your tickets and you boarded the plane.

"One of you guys can have the window seat, I had it last time." You said.

Gon sat in the window seat and you sat in the middle, and Killua insisted that he sat on the end.

"What happened?" You asked Killua.

He sat up really high and looked around then bent down so no one could see him but you and Gon.

"Illumi, he's coming after us. His pin people were at the airport watching us." Killua said very seriously.

"What are his pin people?" You asked.

"It's Illumi's nen, he can control people with his pins. So he definitely know where we are, and where we are going." Killua explained.

"He's going to try to kill me, and take you with him, right?" You asked.

"Yeah probably." Killua said casually.

"Are you scared." You asked your voice shaking a bit.

"No not really, Illumis done this a couple of times-" he stopped and looked at you, you looked scared. "It's going to be fine, I promise... I'll protect you from him and everyone else." His hand twitched like he was going to hold yours but he didn't.

You smiled sadly looking at your feet, "thanks Killua," you looked up at him and hugged him.

"Oh huh!" He said awkwardly and he patted your back lightly, but then he hugged you back fully, "you don't have to be scared, it'll be alright."

You both let go, Gon was giggling hard, Killua and you were both blushing a lot. Killua reached over you to Gon and slapped his hand over his mouth.

"You guys are so cute together." Gon said through Killua's hand.

"Shut up, we're just friends." Killua rolled his eyes.

Just friends

Those words stung, but you didn't know why.

Killua and I are just friends

You tried to convince your self.

"Yeah..." You looked at Killua who was super close to you from reaching over to Gon. He looked back at you and snapped his hand back and sat up in his seat fast.

He stared at the seat in front of him, his face going red. You looked at him and saw his face go red, then yours did to.

You looked at Gon and frowned, he smiled and scratched his head awkwardly, you laughed with him.

"So Gon, do you have a girlfriend or anything?" You asked. 

He shook his head, "No why."

Killua looked at you fast and whispered, "Gon's a whore."

"Really!" You said excitingly.

"I am not!" Gon said sitting up.

"Yes you are!" He shoved a finger in Gon's face reaching over you.

"Am not!" He yelled shoving Killua down on your lap. "Why do you ask anyways."

"Yeah why did you ask? Do you want to be his girlfriend or whatever?" He laughed hesitantly.

"No! I was asking to make fun of him, and I was curious." You said.

"Yeah why would she want to date me... If she likes you." You hit him.

"I will throw you off this plane with no hesitation!" you yelled and Gon laughed, "I'm not joking."

"I'll help." Killua said rolling his eyes.
