You and Gon ran to the restaurant you said you'd meet at.

Killua wasn't there yet, you and Gon were starting to get anxious.

"Do you think Illumi got him, do you think they're leaving, do you think they're at the airport or something." You asked, you were getting scared. "We need to find him!"

Gon hesitated, "let's wait here, just for a little longer."

You were bouncing in your chair you could barely sit down, all you wanted to do is find Killua.

"Should we be sitting here waiting, I think we should go find him." You said anxiously.

"He's coming, I can feel it." Gon said confidently.

"But what if he doesn't, it'll be all my fault." You slammed your head down on the table. "And even if he comes back, what will we do?"

"You mean with Illumi?"

"Yeah, how will we... Get away from him." You asked staring down at the table.

"I- I don't know, Killua will know I bet, he always does." Gon smiled to comfort you.

"Yeah..."

"There! Killua!" Gon pointed behind you standing up. Killua was behind you walking towards you, you smiled and a tear rolled down your cheek.

"Killua!" You ran towards him and hugged him, "where were you? What happened? Are you okay?"

"I'm ok, I took care of Illumi." Killua said.

"You killed him?!" You yelled scardly, people started looking at you confused and worried.

"No, we made a deal, he won't be going after us anymore." Killua said whispering to you and Gon.

"What did you do?" Gon asked.

"It's not important, we're safe now." You were worried about what he had to do but you were happy he was safe. "Let's get some food."

"Ok, I'm glad your okay." You ordered at the restaurant and all sat down, Killua wasn't talking much and it worried you.

——

Later you checked into a hotel and sat in the room for the rest of the day.

"Are you sure you're okay?" You asked Killua, he was acting a little different every since he 'took care of Illumi' you were guessing he had a pin in his head or something, which worried you even more.

You thought about how Killua told you that once Illumi put a pin in his head it just got deeper and deeper over the years. This made you think that if there was a pin it'd be new and wouldn't be deep.

"Yeah I'm fine." He said sitting on the couch across the room, you looked at Gon and he looked worried.
You walked over to Killua and sat by him.

"Good, wouldn't want it any other way." You hugged him and searched his head with your arms, you felt around his head secretly looking for any sign of a pin.

"What are you-" he started to say.

You felt a bump and you pulled it, a long pin coated with came out of his head.

"Ow." Killua said slapping his hand in where you took the pin out.

"I knew it!" You turned around and showed Gon, he smiled tiredly, "are you ok now?" You asked him quietly.

"Yeah, I am now, really, thanks." Killua smiled at you.

"I told you not to!" You scolded him falling onto the couch next to him.

"I'm pretty sure you told me not to leave." He put his hands on the back of his head and leaned back.

"I swear I said don't let him put a pin in you," you started to think back and put your finger on your lip, "well you should've known not to do that."

"I knew you'd find it if I did, and it was the only way to get him not to kill you."

"But what if I didn't find it and you had it in you for years." You said worriedly.

"It's better than him putting one in you." He shrugged, you looked over to Gon to see if he'd agree with you but he was already asleep.

"No it's not! If I didn't find it I'd have the guilt forever that it's my fault."

"It wouldn't be your fault though. I said I'd protect you, so I'll do everything I can to keep you safe, including taking a pin for you." Killua shrugged.

"You don't have to protect me, not if it puts yourself in danger." You crossed your arms and started to slouch into the couch. "I can take care of myself."

"Like you have many times? Without me you'd be dead, so I need to protect you." Killua said confidently.

"I wouldn't be dead, I can manage by myself!" You shouted in a whisper.

"Are you saying you don't need me." Killua had a small smirk on his face.

"No I do- Just don't put yourself in danger like that!"

"Fine I guess I'll let you get kidnapped or something next time." He rolled his eyes.

"Stop it! I'm not going to!" You whinnied and stared out the window ignoring his smile, "hey look, it's snowing."

Killua turned his head to look outside, "you're going to slip on ice if you go outside, or maybe an icicle will come down and knock you out, you might even fall into the lake if you ice skate."

"No I won't, I'm not stupid."

"And who will catch you because I can't." He said mockingly.

"That's not going to happen, I'm telling you." You looked at him and made an annoyed face, he smiled and laughed a little.

You were both so close to each other your legs were touching.

"If I counted how much times I've caught you, it'd be more than you can count to." he said.

"If I've counted how much times you've actually kept me up it's lower than your body count." you said back.

"Which one?" Killua smirked.

"Funny."

"I've only dropped you because you're heavy."

"Aren't you supposed to be strong?"

"I have my limits."

"What's that, an egg?"

"It's around a elephants weight, so basically you."

"Weak, I could carry you, but that's like the weight of a hamster."

Killua stood up and grabbed you by the waist and swung you over his shoulders then threw you on his bed. "Hey!" you yelled.

"Sorry, whose the weak hamster?" He said.

"Wow you can lift a whole elephant." You said in awe laughing, "so I guess that makes you a little bunny now, sorry for calling you a hamster."

You pulled him next to you on the bed and started petting his hair jokingly, "such cute little bunny."

He started to blush, "I'm not cute," he crossed his arms, you thought he looked very cute, his white hair was messed up from you and he was on his back crossing his arms angrily.
