After my early morning class, I called up my best friend and asked if she wanted to go out to lunch, and of course, she accepted. I really didn't want to go home, especially after arguing with Kash's lying ass all morning, so I was going to enjoy this small outing with my girl.

"Hey, girl, hey!" Bella greeted me, as I approached the table. She jumped up from the booth and embraced me in a hug, before we both sat down. "I ordered us both frozen margaritas for the table and some chips and queso."

"You know me so well." I smiled, opening up the menu. Bella and I have been best friends since we were in preschool, only because our moms are best friends, which made sense for us to be as close as they were. Of course, we had our moments where we'd fight, argue, and vow to never speak to each other again, but we could never stay mad at each other for too long. She was like the sister I always wanted.

"You know I do, boo, but anyways... You looking good, girl!"

"Thanks, boo. You look good as well." I told her, watching as she flipped her long hair. Bella was undeniably gorgeous, with her perfect caramel brown skin, hazel brown eyes, plump lips, and slim thick body that made all the men crazy for her. Bella always changed up her hair and today she was rocking a gorgeous purple lace front, which was curled to perfection, and flowing perfectly down her back and shoulders. We were both having a good hair day today. "Is that a new wig?"

"Yes, ma'am, you like?"

"I love! I should try wearing wigs one day." I said, reaching over to feel the softness of it.

"I told you that, but noooo! You said that Kash didn't approve of women who wear wigs and weaves, even though we both know that you are the weave queen!" She stated, making me laugh.

"I'm the weave queen, and you're the wig queen!" She laughed loudly, flipping her hair over her shoulder.

"You right about that!" We shared a laugh, right as the waiter came to the table with our drinks and appetizers. We then ordered our food, not wasting any time downing our drinks and ordering more. An afternoon out with my girl was exactly what I needed to distract me from Kash and his bullshit, but I knew that once this was all over I'd have to step back into reality.

The next day, I had a bunch of wedding things to do, but I had a slight hangover, so I could barely focus on anything that was happening right now. Bella and I ended up having so many drinks, that the owner of the restaurant had to cut us off and call an Uber to take us both home. Now that I think about it, the entire situation was slightly embarrassing, but I did sleep like a baby last night.

My head was down on the table, while Bella was talking about God knows what, and I just really wanted her to stop talking right now. Don't get me wrong, she was helping me with this wedding, which was exactly what I needed right now, but at the same time, I didn't want to deal with anything at the moment.
