Kashton "Kash" Taylor

Long after Londyn left this morning, I found myself thinking about the argument we had early this morning. I didn't deserve her at all, and that was something that she knew as well, but for some reason she was sticking by my side, and I love her so much for that. She was the most beautiful girl in the world, and I wanted her to know that every single day, but between me constantly working, and dealing with some personal issues... I don't think I tell her enough. I know how stressed she was, with planning our wedding and what not, but I'm stressed too, and I'm trying to be compassionate and understand her feelings, but I can't. Not the way she wants me to anyways.

The truth is, the personal issue I was dealing with was something that I knew Lo would never approve of, but I was doing this for her. I was doing this for us. A few months ago, I got laid off from my job, so I started doing little jobs with my homies, participating in heists and what not. The money I was getting was nice as fuck, but the time I was putting in was ridiculous, and I was barely even home nowadays. A few days ago, Jason came to me and said that we were about to pull off the biggest heist of all heist, and if all goes well, then we'd all walk away million dollars richer, and that's all I needed to hear. I wanted to give Lo the wedding and honeymoon of her dreams, and I knew that she deserved nothing but the best. Which is why I'm going to do this, and afterwards, I'm done.

Getting my day started, I ended up making myself breakfast, since Lo was already gone for the day, and she probably wouldn't be back home until after twelve or one. I hated that she left the house without eating anything, but I'm sure she grabbed herself something before class. Putting my dishes in the sink, I was about to head upstairs and get dressed, but I stopped when I heard my phone vibrating on the kitchen table. I quickly ran over and grabbed it, seeing that it was Lo calling.

"Hey, baby." I answered.

"Are you going to be working late tonight?" She asked, not even bothering to say hey or anything else. She was clearly still upset with me.

"Well, hey, to you too."

"Just answer the question, Kash."

"Yeah, I am. Why?" I asked her. How much y'all wanna bet that the next thing out of her mouth will be related to the wedding? I could already feel it in the gut of my damn stomach.

"Because you promised me that we'd work on this seating chart together. I know you said that you don't care where I sit your family, but we both know that your family argues more than mine do, and I don't want any drama at the wedding." She said, making me chuckle. See what I mean? I called that shit.

"My family don't argue like that. You just caught my mama and Aunt Kim on a bad day, which is why they got the fighting." I said, coming to my family's defense. Yeah, my family was a little rough around the edges, but whose family isn't? I can answer that question without blinking. Lo's family. They were the most perfect acting family ever, and I hated that, because if I did one thing wrong then they'd turn their noses up at me. Snooty ass bitches.

"Your mom knocked your aunt's teeth out of her mouth, babe. She had to be transported to the hospital by ambulance, because she couldn't bear the sight of her own blood." She stated.

"Alright, look, just put my mom at the same table as your parents, leaving Aunt Kim with her husband and bad ass kids, but don't have them anywhere near the front. I don't have time to deal with that."

"You know what? Do your side of the family's seating chart yourself, and get it back to me as soon as you can. I left the book on the kitchen table." I looked directly in front of me, and saw it sitting right where she said it would be. I opened up the book, seeing her side of the family's seating arrangements, looking clean and well organized, while my side was completely empty. Since I haven't really contributed to this wedding, besides dropping the money for it, I can at least do a simple ass seating chart. I mean, how hard could it be?

"I'll work on it while I'm at work." I promised her.

"Please and thank you." We talked for a little bit longer, and then hung up the phone, without even saying "I love you," which was a first. I understand that she was upset, and she had every right to be, but I can't undo what had already been done, if you know what I mean.
