Kash
The disgusted look that Lo was giving me after I told her about what I was doing when I was supposed to be working, really made me feel some type of way. I know what I did was wrong, but she asked for the truth, and I gave her just that. I wanted a clean slate between us, with no lies and no secrets. Just pure honesty, all the time.
"Lo, if I didn't care about you, I wouldn't have told you. I would've just continued to lie to you, and that's not what I want. I'll come clean about everything, if you just promise me that you'll still try to make this work." I said, trying to look her in her eyes. She couldn't even look at me, and that made me upset, but at the same time... I wouldn't blame her if she just said fuck this session, fuck this relationship, hopped in her car, and left my worthless ass forever.
"I don't even know what to think of you right now!" She hissed, backing away from me. "I can't do this." She was about to head to her car, but I gently grabbed her arm and pulled her back.
"Lo, please. I'm trying here, babe. I really am. Don't give up on me just yet." She looked back at me, with tears glistening in her beautiful brown eyes, as she sighed and nodded her head.
"Fine. Let's just get this over with." She huffed, brushing past me as she headed inside first. This was going to be one intense and fucked up ass session.

Lo and I sat on opposite ends of the couch, and I could literally, feel the tension that filled the entire room. Dr. Shawn Varges sat across from us, with his leg propped up on his knee, as he looked at the both of us. I'm sure he felt the tension as well, which is why he looked a little nervous, as he cleared his throat a little bit.
"So, Ms. Perkins, Mr. Taylor... What brings you in today?" He asked. We both looked at each other, but I quickly looked away, because the glare she gave me would've killed me if looks could actually kill.
"Call me Kash, man, and uh... We're here to try and fix our relationship." I murmured.
"Though it's pretty unfixable at the moment." Lo voiced. I quickly looked at her, seeing a cute ass pout form on her face, but this wasn't the time to get sucked in by her beauty. Just hearing her say that our relationship was unfixable, made my heart race a little, but I wasn't giving up on her. I wasn't giving up on us.
"Why do you say that?" She looked over at me again, sighing heavily, as she started to cry.
"He's not the man that I fell in love with." He leaned over and pulled a couple of Kleenex tissues from the box, handing it over to her. "Thanks."
"You're welcome. Now, tell me, what do you mean when you say he isn't the man you fell in love with?" He questioned.
"The Kash that I fell in love with would've never lied to me, cheated on me, or steal to make our lives better. The man that I fell in love with, he made a way out of no way, and promised me that he would give me the world, and he did. At least, I thought he did, but this Kash? This man right here isn't the person I want to be with. I want my old Kash back, and until I see him again... This relationship is beyond repairable!" She cried. The way she started to sob uncontrollably, tugged at my heart in the worst way. I just wanted to reach over and pull her into my arms, allowing her snot and tears to soak my shirt, while I consoled her. I didn't deserve her, and she didn't deserve the shit that I was putting her through.
"Baby... I-I didn't know that you felt like this. Why didn't you ever tell me?" I asked her.
"How could I, Kash? When you weren't out falsely working, you were hooking up with Bella, while I was home planning our wedding! So please, tell me, how could I have told you anything?"
"Hold up, let's back up a bit." Dr. Varges chimed in. "Before we get into the depths of all the problems in your relationship, I want to get to know you both individually, and as a couple. So tell me, how long have you two been together?"
"Seven years." I answered. "We met in college, but I feel like I've known her forever."
"Do you feel the same way, Ms. Perkins?" He asked Lo.
"You can call me, Lo, and yeah... I did anyways." She murmured. "I mean... I get that people change as they grow older, but they're also supposed to mature, right?"
"Yeah, you can say that."
"Hold up... What is you trying to say?" I asked her.
"I'm not trying to say anything! I'm clearly stating facts, that you didn't mature over time like I thought you did! Instead, you've done nothing but take the easy way out, and for what?"
"FOR YOU! WHY ELSE WOULD YOU THINK?!"
"WELL, I DIDN'T ASK YOU TO!" By this time, Dr. Varges eased in between us, sending me to sit in the chair he was once sitting in while he sat next to Lo. She was literally, shaking with anger, and I wasn't too far behind her, especially after she sat there and accused me of being childish. Yeah, she didn't say it, but I knew exactly what she meant.
"Things have gotten a little out of hand, so I think we're going to end the session a little early. Don't worry, I won't charge you for this session, but I do want to see you both again... Separately, if you don't mind." Lo didn't bother responding, as she got up and sprinted towards the door, leaving me and Dr. Varges alone.
"As you can see, Doc, we have a long way to go." I chuckled, trying to lighten the situation a little bit. Though there was nothing funny about this situation, I didn't want anyone seeing the fear and sadness that I felt on the inside. I was losing the only girl that I ever really loved, and I didn't know how to handle all these feelings, so what do I do? Crack a fucking joke. "In your personal opinion, Doc, from what you just witnessed, do you think that this is something we can work through?"
"I don't know for sure, but with a few more sessions, and a little more guidance, I believe that you two can overcome this rough patch." He assured me. That gave me a little glimmer of hope that I was so desperately looking for, but in the meantime... I was going to keep my distance and leave our future in God's hands.
