Lo
I paced back and forth in the kitchen, cursing myself for what I told Vic yesterday, even though it accidentally slipped out. Kash has been hiding something from me, and instead of asking him what was going on... I assumed the worst. On top of that, I noticed that his car was parked outside of Bella's apartment the other day, and I brushed it off, because I didn't believe that he and my best friend would be hooking up behind my back.
"Just call him up and ask him." I said to myself, picking up my phone off the counter. I scrolled down to his name, about to press the call button, but the sound of the doorbell stopped me from doing so. Taking a deep breath, I sat the phone down and walked towards the door, opening it up but no one was there. "Uh... Hello?" I looked down, seeing a yellow manila envelope that was addressed to me, and I slowly bent over to pick it up. I looked around, not seeing anything out of the ordinary, as I closed the door and headed back into the kitchen. I opened the envelope, pulling out a stack of papers that looked like pictures, printed text messages, and emails.
I slowly sat down, letting the tears flow from my eyes, when I realized that these text messages and emails were from Kash and Bella. Plus, the pictures showed them kissing, holding hands, and even having sex in the car a few times. Wow. They were messing around behind my back, and I didn't even know it, despite me having my suspicions that I shouldn't have even ignored. How could they do this to me?
Dropping the papers down on the counter, I couldn't even think straight, as I dropped down to my knees and started crying hysterically. According to the messages, the two have been messing around for almost a year, recently stopping their sexual rendezvous because Bella caught feelings. She caught feelings for MY fiancé, and that infuriated me.
Wiping my eyes, I stood up and went straight to the liquor cabinet, grabbed the Jack Daniels as I took a long swig from the bottle. I usually only drink hard liquor when I went out, but I was making an exception for the moment because I was hoping this alcohol will fix my broken heart. Dragging my feet as I headed upstairs, I stopped in front of my window, staring across the way towards Vic's house. I always had an odd feeling that he was over there watching me, but I knew he wasn't. He probably wasn't even thinking about me.
Taking another swig of the alcohol, I walked over towards the closet and grabbed my duffle bag, tossing it on the bed. I wanted to pack my stuff and get out of here before Kash came back home, but I wasn't sure where I was going to go. In a normal situation, I would've went over to Bella's house, but finding out that she was fucking my man... I guess I was just going to have to check into a hotel and lay low for awhile.
By the time I finished packing my bag, the bottle of Jack Daniels was completely empty, and I was sloppy drunk. Did I care? Nope, because I was still about to get my drunk ass in the car and drive far away from here. Stumbling my way downstairs, I headed out of the house and staggered my way towards the car, leaning up against it as I fumbled around in my purse.
