"Shit," Detective Lee exclaimed as she followed after Changmin, who shot through another red light, almost hitting a car in the process, "we're gonna have to back off before he causes an accident."

Detective Park nodded in agreement, pulling his phone from his inner pocket to call agent Min, as Lee started to slow down and let Changmin "lose them" so to speak.

"Agent Min, we hope the time we bought you was enough, Changmin's headed back your way, ETA about one hour."

Agent Min Yoongi swore under his breath as he hung up with the detectives and radioed to the search party, "Namjoon, did you find him?"

"Not yet, the place is too well hidden, we're literally combing inch by inch of the area."

Yoongi swore again before radioing back, "Joon, Changmin's headed back, you got an hour tops."

They couldn't find him, and they were running outta time.

Wherever he was keeping Jungkook, was just too well hidden.

Taehyung tapped on his earpiece, signaling Jungkook to respond.

"Hyung?"

"Jungkook," Tae replied instantly, "listen to me, we're at the tree, but the place you're being held is too well hidden, we can't find you, we need more, and Changmin's on his way back." Taehyung rushed.

Jungkook was quick with his response, "The tree hyung, stand under the tree facing the mountain, it's where we sat when he let me out,"

Taehyung immediately complied, turning back from where he was and beelined back to the tree. Once under it's canopy, he turned to face the mountain, "Okay, I'm in position."

Suddenly Jungkook's earpiece let out a single beep only he could hear, singling that it was close to death, causing him to internally curse, he couldn't afford to lose communication with them, not now, "Hyung, we're gonna lose communication soon,"

It was Tae's turn to swear as he quickly relayed the information to the others, "I was blindfolded leaving and entering this place, but I counted how many steps brought me back from the tree to the opening of the place he's holding me."

"I'm ready Kookie,"

"From the tree, walk twenty paces straight ahead, there..."

Another beep.

"Jungkook? Jungkook! Damn!"

"Tae, what happened?" Jimin asked.

"We've lost communication with Jungkook."

Jungkook swore as his communication with the outside world finally gave out.

They were so close.

"Please find me hyungs."

That was close, but he'd managed to lose them. Changmin made his way back toward Inwangsan, eyes scanning cautiously for any sign of being followed. It'd be in his best interest to lay low for a while, plan his next move, and that's exactly what he'll do once back at the bunker and his princess.

They got there before Changmin did, stashing the car where he wouldn't notice it before detective Lee met up with agent Min, detective Park staying behind to look out for Changmin, "Did they find agent Jeon?" Detective Lee asked by way of greeting.

Agent Min shook his head in the negative, "I haven't heard anything yet," he replied, "Changmin?"

"On his way, broke a helluva lot of traffic laws to shake our tail, almost caused two head on collisions. He knows we're interested in him now, so there's every possibility he'll make a run for it. We've called the department, and informed the Chief of the current situation, and Changmin being a possible runner. He's placed undercovers at all exit points out of Seoul, including the airport, in case he decides to leave the country." Lee reported.

This wasn't good.

They had to find Jungkook quickly, Changmin was getting desperate enough to run and go into hiding now that he knew they wanted him for kidnapping and murder, they couldn't afford not arresting him, but without Jungkook, Changmin has the upper hand. He was the only one who knew where Jungkook was, and could, essentially, withhold that information in order to practically get away with murder, essentially holding the young agent captive, especially if he learns Jungkook isn't the sweet, meek princess he believed him to be, or worse, kill Jungkook and run, but they may have no choice, Changmin had to be taken in, now.

If they couldn't find Jungkook before Changmin reached them, they'll have to risk taking him in, and hoping he's infatuated enough with Jungkook to tell them where he is, but Yoongi hoped it wouldn't come to that.

Detective Lee's phone sounded off, "Hello," she listened intently, "damn," she muttered before meeting the eyes of the agent before her, "He's here."

"Shit," agent Min swore as he quickly got on the radio to the search team.

Looks like times up.
