Jimin found him, or at least the camper their suspect had been renting, "Got it, thank you for your help," Jimin quickly hung up the phone and turned to the two detectives, who were in the process of getting their case against Jang Changmin together to present to the district attorney, "Detectives, I got him,"

Detective Park looked up and over at the young agent, who held up a piece of paper with writing followed by a set of numbers on it, "He's renting a camper, license plate DPM-3362," Suddenly Jimin's cell rang, "Hello?"

"Jimin, we got a possible location, we need you here to help with the search."

Jimin rose from his seat, "You found him?"

"We think so, but we need to move fast, we're not sure when Changmin's coming back."

"I'm on my way."

"They find agent Jeon?" Detective Lee asked as agent Park ended the call.

"They believe so. I'm heading out to help with the search," he handed detective Park the information about the camper, "Here's the info I got on the camper," His phone yet again, reaching into his pocket, he withdrew the phone and answered the call, "Hello?"

"We found a witness who saw Changmin heading from the mountain trails to the camp ground parking lot on mountain bike, and another who saw him head back toward Seoul in a black four door sedan."

Jimin relayed the message to the detectives. Lee looked at her partner, "We don't know how long he's been gone, or if he's already on his way back, we need to head to Inwangsan, if we're lucky we'll get there first."

Detective Park nodded his head as he and Lee headed for the door, Jimin repeating the detectives plan of action to his hyung on the phone.

"Good idea, there's only one road in and out of the mountain, so Jang wouldn't be able to slip pass 'em. Hopefully they get here first."

"Has the search for Kookie started yet?"

"No, we're still in the planning stage of the rescue. The area, we're told, is dangerous terrain, so we'll need careful planning and safety gear just in case, but we're just about ready."

"I'm on my way."

They had been searching for two hours without luck when Taehyung saw it, the very tree Jungkook described. It was blackened and split mid-way down, the newer, younger tree growing tall in it's center. One of the soldiers in his group removed his walkie-talkie from his belt to inform the other groups of their findings and current location.

Ten minutes later, they were met by the other search parties when Namjoon's walkie went off, Yoongi's voice filtering through, "Joon, just got a call from detective Lee, Jang's heading back, ETA 10 to 20 minutes."

"Damn," Namjoon said to himself, before responding to Yoongi, "We need more time hyung, stall him if you can."

"No promises."

"Shit," Taehyung swore, "we're running outta time."

Agent Min swore under his breath as he set the walkie aside and pulled out his phone, immediately speed dialing the detectives in pursuit of Changmin. The call was recieved at the second ring, "Did you find him?" Detective Park asked in greeting.

"They're in the right place, just need to find where Jang's actually hiding him, they need more time. Think you can stall him?"

Detective Park relayed Yoongi's request to his partner, Lee, who was skillfully maneuvering their unmarked car through traffic as they followed behind Jang Changmin.

"We can let him know we're tailing him, it might force him to stay away a bit longer." She suggested.

"That might work," he acknowledged before turning his attention back his phone, "We gotta a plan agent Min, hang tight, let's see if this works."

Detective Lee started to make her tailing obvious, practically riding his bumper, blatantly announcing their presence to Changmin.

It took all of two minutes for their suspect to notice he was being followed by two familiar homicide detectives, and quickly made a sharp turn, changing course. "Here we go, he saw us." Lee said as she too made a sharp turn to follow after Changmin, this time, away from the mountain.

Detective Park raised his phone back to his ear, and the agent still waiting on the other end of the line, "Alright, he's spotted us and is leading us away from Inwangsan, we bought you some time, good luck."
