Back at home

KATE'S POV
I finally finished with LokSat case and I decided to return home. There was no more danger, anymore and I missed Rick, terribly. On my way home I was thinking about us, Rick and me and how our life is going to be normal again. I was so incredibly happy. When I arrived I opend the door and shouted "Babe, I am home". But nobody answered so I shouted again "Rick" and then finally I noticed my husband walking towards me. My heart can't stop beating, I am happy like a little girl. But I could feel something was strange....as he gets closer to me. And than I saw it... His face, his angry face. I have never seen him this angry. His blue eyes weren't so blue anymore.

"Hey, what happend?" I broke the silence. "Nothing,just nothing" he says calmly but I know it's not nothing, I know him he is like open book when it comes to emotions. "Rick please tell me what's going on?" "Don't play with me, Kate!" "Play with you? I am not playing with you." "Oh, please Kate you abandon me like I am some kinda of toy and now you just walk trought door and you think you can fix everything. But you can't Kate! When you broke something it's broken and it's over." "Rick I am so sorry, let me explain." You don't have anything to explain, Kate! I can't Kate, I can't listen to your mere so-called explanations anymore! I am going to bed." "Ok i'll just put on my pajamas so we can talk in bed." No Kate, you sleep in our bed. "Our" He said, lowering his voice. And I'll sleep in guest room. "But Rick-" , he was already gone.

Monday, 5:40am

KATE'S POV
I woke up early because I couldn't sleep. Yesterday was... I was so happy because I am going to see him and I knew that he is hurt, but I didn't know that he is hurt this much. What have I done?! I ruined my marriage.
And there is he, my beautiful husband who is angry at me and that is my fault. He just walked by me straight to the kitchen. He started preparing breakfast. I wonder what he will makes us for breakfast. He came to the table and I waited for my plate. I was waiting and waiting but my plate still wasn't there. So I decided to ask him "Hey where is my plate?"

"I don't know what you want to eat, plates are there you can make yourself what you want to eat" he just said short. This words, they pierced my heart like the sharpest knife.
"I, I... ok" I walk towards him and tryed to give him a kiss because I'm heading out to the precinct but he just turned his head on me and instead to his lips, my kiss landed on his cheek. I was so taken down by his action that I couldn't describe it in words, but I decided to let it go and maybe he'll cool off on his own, I tryed to advice myself so I just said "I am going to work, see you later!" "Just leave that's all you know!" he shouted after me.

At work
I couldn't do anything, I was thinking about him all the time. He is so angry and hurt and that is my fault, what if, what if he never forgives me. That would ruin me completly. My thinking was interrupted by the sound of the elevator. Door started to open, slowly and I was able to see familiar face. It's him! My heart started beating wildly, I ran towards him and hugged him. My eyes watered, I assumed he had come to talk. But he just pushed me away lightly and said "that's not why I'm here". I stood buried and waited for the earth to swallow me. "Boys!" he shouted, Ryan and Espo turned and started walking towards him. "Hey Castle long time no see" they both said. "Ya... Ya I am here because I need my credit card and I gave it to you to buy yourself fan T-shirt"."Yes that's true, here you go your credit card" Espo said. "I know it's stupid of me to ask but why you need it? " Ryan asked. "I need it to book a flight." "Oh, so you and Mrs. Castle are going somewhere, Beckett didn't tell us anything" they said confused. "Nope, just me", he calmly said, although his ears did catch Espo's exact choice of words, he tryed hard to ignore that Mrs. Castle part, not wanting to reveal to boys that things are not going too well for him and Kate as married couple. "Bro, is everything okay between you and Beckett?" Espo asked. "I am good, I don't know for her, you can ask her yourself." He said briefly and just at the moment Kate appeared among them. " Babe, can we talk? "She turned to Castle. If we have to, ok he said. Come on let's go she replied. No if you want to talk we will talk here in front of everyone. Um ok. Rick, I am so sorry...It wasn't my intention to hurt you. Just then Lanie came in with the findings but paused and listened as surprised as the rest of the station. But you did, Kate! he continues. You left me just like Meredith did 12 years ago. I felt the same way, abadoned and unwanted. Am I not good enough for you Kate?! No Rick, you're great, but I am damaged you know that. Oh please Kate always same stories, don't even start. Do you remember Kate when we promised our always to each other? Of course I do Rick and when I left you that wasn't my choice. Ya, all you did it's because of my safety. I tired of that Kate, I am tired of people pushing me away because of my safety. And what about Alexis? She sees you as a mother figure, but you abadon her just like her real mother did long time ago! Why am I even telling you this?! She is my daughter, not yours and you know why? Because she doesn't need two "mothers" which will abadon her. I can't take it anymore, Kate! Not right now! He turned and headed for the elevator, but then he stopped and started coming back. Oh yes one more thing. I thought you really meant it when you said Always at our wedding but obviously you didn't. He took off his wedding ring and gave it to her
"Here, keep it, I don't need it anymore". Then he turned and headed for the elevator. "Rick please wait" Kate sobbed. He looked at her and said I begged you to wait, that day, the day when you left. " But you didn't Kate! You just left me!
