14: Demon's Cry

What am I doing?

I should be mad right now!

These people....

These people that I am trying to protect....

These are the people who wished for my death.

And yet,

Why do they look so pathetic?

Nasa'n na ang lakas ng loob nila nang pinahihirapan nila ako noon?

They had those looks of terror while pointing their knives at me and yet, none of them could even stand on their own and defend themselves.

Hydrolians!

You are not like this!

Why do you look so weak?

Why didn't you fight back?

Why did you choose to hide and crawl yourselves in the dark like this?

"Is that----"

Binalewala ko ang boses ng nagsalita at tinalikuran sila. Guess he know who I am.

I turned my gaze to the demons infront of me and without having a second thought, I swing my sword and slashed their necks with every move I execute.

I am mad!

I need to know where the tamer is because I am sure that wherever that demon is, the kids are also in there!

Or so I hope...

I need to finish this as soon as possible but there's just no end to this! They keep on coming and coming and I had a feeling that Sir Thormund and I are nearly getting out of magic! We won't have enough strength to defeat the last boss!

Who knows what's happening to the kids from this moment and then on!

They might be so scared right now. I won't let any child suffer the same fate as me!

But at this pace, we might be too late to save them all! Goddamn it!

"Come on, sweet little child! There's no need for you to be afraid. I just want you to play with me." A woman in her loose-and-flowered unlined cloth speak in a sweet-tone voice.

Despite the tone of her voice, young boys keep on crying and hugging one another. No one replied.

None of them reached out to the woman's hand. Afraid of her long black nails and pale skin. Her fangs are visible whenever she speaks and the way her bloody lips move are enough to scare the young children.

Everyone screamed when the woman pulled her hands back and started yelling.

"Damn pests! So, these are the Towers I heared rumors about! They're good! But they won't have enough strength to fight against me."

Muling binalot ng takot ang mga bata nang magsimula itong maglakad palayo sa kanila. Ang ingay na nagagawa ng bawat tapak nito sa sahig ay naghatid ng kilabot sa mga bata.

Ilang sandali lamang ay muling sumilay ang isang ngiti mula sa mga labi nito bago nagsalita.

"We have company..." She said grinning ferociously.

She sat down on her chair waiting for someone to open the door. With her fingers running through her cheeks, she waited there sitting elegantly. Despite being a demon, she is indeed screaming with beauty and adore.
