"Where's the master?" Tanong ko sa isang Arnima na naglilinis ng silid ni Master Frith.

Arnimas are people who work directly to the master. These are people who doesn't engage in battles and doesn't have sword skills. They just simply serve the corps. They prepare our clothes, uniforms, meals and almost everything. Some of them decided to work under the organization after being saved by the corps.

"Wala po siya, Miss Leinheart. But he'll be back tonight to assemble the highest ranking hunters."

"Are they all here?"

I don't really know the reason behind this meeting. Merill and I just arrived yesterday and since then, I never saw him. Ngayon ko lang din nalaman na magpapatawag pala ang master ng isang pagpupulong. It's very unusual for the master to call a meeting with all the highest ranking hunters. It must be a very big deal. Though I don't sense any mysterious creature wondering around and I can't sense any danger. What is this all about?

"I haven't seen one except you, Miss Leinheart."

"Okay. Thank you."

Lumabas ako sa silid ni Master Frith upang makiramdam sa paligid when I suddenly heared footsteps coming from different directions. Their familiar scents enveloped my nostrils. They must be near. I can sense their unnatural presence even from a far. The presence that you can't just nod off.

The highest ranking demon hunters consist of twelve well-trained swordsmen called as the 12 Towers. They maintain the orderliness among hunters and impose hope not just for the people but also to their fellow hunters.

Everyone of them wields a strong magic powers that are essential for the upcoming war. We can't lose a single tower. We needed all the twelve to maintain our tactics. A single loss can ruin everything we've planned.

"Their almost here. The wind sends me their tremendous magic powers. I almost got shivers down my spine." Merill laughed tensely.

Merill Hugh. The Tower of the Wind. As what I have said, Merill is our guardian. She's the very core of our defense. Aera is the name of her sword. Using the wind, she deflects attacks coming right at her. Without her, our defense would weaken. Her position isn't just for defending us during battle but also to protect the citizens. As much as possible, we don't want any casualities during the war. But a war like that is impossible. There will always be casualities that will go beyond our calculations.

"Hey, hey, hey! Do you have a tea in there?" Isang pamilyar na boses ng lalaki ang nagsalita mula sa likuran. He smiled when I turn around and looked at him.

Thormund Conleth. The Thunder Tower. His electrifying sword skills speak for himself. His quick reflexes are also second to none. He moves in a flash and almost no one can see him during fights except for the other towers who can deliberately match his overwhelming abilities. He named his sword Raikirie. He loves his sword more than anything else.

"How's your mission, Thor?" Matiim ko siyang tiningnan.

"It went well. I killed an upper class demon and I bet, Mortier is going crazy now for losing one of his precious subordinates. Now tell me I'm cool, Exia. Come on, tell me." He never matures.

"Are you okay?" I cut him off.

"Of course, I am." Liar.
