I was in denial for whole 5 minutes,  shocked beyond measure. This wasn't possible. My best friend, my sister, my partner, my hope, my support Lina was the one who had attacked me. Lina like my Lina. Nope not happening. I had no idea about what was going around me. I didnt care that I was still at the attack site. I didn't give a damn that we could get attacked again or that my gang members were injured. It was as if one of my nightmares had become true. No, No, No
I heard James call me. I felt Nels soft touch on my shoulder but that didnt matter. I looked into the eyes of a friend who betrayed me.

"Lina Chase." I whispered again.
She just looked at me with pity in her eyes but that look made me even more angry. I hated being pitied at. I wanted support and honesty not this mother fucking pity.

I felt my anger level rising. The pain was vanishing and I was becoming a devil. All the sadness of being betraying was moving like poison in my veins. Anger had replaced the blood in my veins.

"Lina Chase" I repeated again

James and Nel had sensed the change in me and were instantly alert. They knew about my anger issues and that how dangerous I could get. They knew that it was anger that helped me in making this mark in the mafia world. It was with anger that I had defeated all of my rivals.

Anger that had replaced tiredness and helped me work day and night to make a company. It was anger that had kept me alive.

If it were not for James, Nel and Nico I would have become a complete mad psychopath. At that time Anna, Mylie and Lina most of Lina had become all that I needed. They gave me love, friendship and support. Linas father had become my dad. But right now it seemed like I had lost everything I had ever earned.

God what have I done that u are treating me like this.
I wanted to kill everyone right now. i was losing myself to anger. No Ash no calm down. Stop it

I talked to myself trying to stay calm but looking at that betrayer changed everything.

"Ash calm down. we should listen to her. Get to know both sides of the story. then decide if someone is a betrayer or not. Lina may not be what u think. So just calm down honey. It's okay. But first we need to leave." said James

I knew he was right. I felt the wound on my arm. It was still bleeding. Apparently the knife had gone deep inside. Lina saw me checking my wound and said
"You need a doctor. That knife that I hit you with wasn't an ordinary one. It had detachable glass pieces attached to it. When I hit u with it some pieces were bound to go in ur skin. If you dont get this checked it may cause an infection and that could even kill you." She said

James and Nel looked at her shocked. Then realised she was talking to me and turned towards me.
I just stared at Lina trying to figure why she was telling me. If this wound could kill me than apparently she was saving my life. Aww nice of her. Wait no Ash she was the one who hit u so no kindness.

"You got a wound?" asked James surprised
"What is so surprising about it?" asked Lina
"Surprising, bitch are you out of ur mind. She has never been wounded in any battle except for a few scratches and cuts and you are saying that u have given her a fatal injury." said James surprised

Now it was Linas turn to be surprised.

"Oh." she said simply

James and Nel stepped forward to check the wound but I stepped away. I was still angry and I didn't want to hurt them. I inserted a finger inside my wound and felt something sharp inside. So she was right I guess.
I pulled that thing out with a squich sound making more blood come out of my wound.
James and Nel looked at me shocked.

"Are u insane?" yelled Nel, James and Lina at the same time.
"You guys realised it quite late." I said in a dull tone

The pain had lessened my anger a bit and I felt alot better.
"James send the wounded men back to the warehouse. Ask the others to tend to their injuries and call the doctors from Chase Hospital to the warehouse. Ask Mr Chase to send the most trusted doctors."
Linas father also owned an hospital which he made in the memory of his late wife because she was also a doctor.
Lina looked surprised as did James and Nel but none of them said anything.

"Nel ask Liam and Jonas twins to escort the girls safely to my house. Ask Sandra to care for them and give them my clothes and have them rest." I explained " and get them a check up too." I added
"Okay I will ask Sandra to bring them for interrogation later." saying that Nel went to inform Liam.
I looked at Lina and saw her looking at me impressed.
"You came here for the girls didnt you?" she asked
"Yes." I replied curtly
"so did I" she stated
This information shocked me because I thought she was with Lestrange.
"I am against Lestrange." she explained
"Why didnt you tell me?" I asked
"I didnt knew u led the most feared mafias. I thought that my gang were alone against Lestrange and all the other gangs." she explained

"Well u were wrong. I am against Lestrange too. But you had a gang that I didn't knew." I said

"We are new in this field." she replied simply

Suddenly Lina yelled and jumped towards me. I looked back and I saw one of Lestranges man was leaping towards me with a knife aimed at my throat and it was too late to dodge.

Suddenly an arrow flew past us missing me by inches and hit the other man exact in his neck.
I knew that only one person could work with arrows that efficiently. I turned and saw that my guess was right.
It was Nico who saved my life.
