My brain simply couldn't grasp the fact that there was a security breach in my warehouse. Considering it was possibly the most guarded and top secret building in the entire New York. But still my gaurds and the entire system was yelling 'security breach' as if mocking me.
Thankfully my brain was a fast processor and instead of thinking that it was impossible, i quickly tightened the hold on my dagger and got ready to kill.
Lina also tensed beside me and her face was a mask of fury. All the traces of blushing romance had vanished and the girl that stood beside me was now a pillar of steel.
James pulled out his gun while Nel held a leather, thorned whip.
The innocent lover boy was gone and only a devil remained. The Jonas twins smiled at me as i nodded at them.
Sounds of gunshots echoed and i looked around for Nico but he was nowhere to be seen. Apparently he deemed security breaches to low in his standard to get up and fight. He never fought untill necessary and the last time he ever held a weapon was when he saved my life.
Slowly i moved forward trying to get a look at who had attacked us and saw that the corridor was filled with foul, smelling smoke.
Just as i took a step forward into the smoke a man with a mask on his face stepped out of the smoke.
One look in his eyes was enough to leave me shocked and confused.
All the rage vanished and i lowered my dagger.
"Jason." i whispered, in utter disbelief.
** "What the fuck do you think you are doing!?" i yelled at him while slamming my hands on the desk in my office. "I wanted to pay you a visit." he replied casually "How the fuck did you even find out my location?" i yelled again "I followed you." he replied casually again "Why the fuck did you do it?" i yelled again "I wanted to talk to you." he replied casually again "What the fuck did you want to talk about?" i yelled as my patience nearly ended "I want to be a part of your gang." he said while looking into my eyes woth dead seriousness. "What the fuck?" i exclaimed "I want to train to protect myself." he said "Well we are doing a good job at doing it for you." i yelled "Well i want to be a part of your gang, train and fight so i can leave your house and go back to my normal life and so you can get rid of me." he said "Yeah first my house and now my gang. When am i getting rid of you?" i yelled "Train me to fight. Give me a weapon. And i shall leave both you and your gang." he said as if it was that simple. "This isnt a club that you can join or leave. We have rules in here and you either not enter or stay till you die." i said "Lets start with the first rule than." he said I raised my eyebrows and he said "One of your gang members fight with the applicant who wants to join the gang and you than judge if he is strong enough." he explained as if i didn't knew. "Well i wont do anything like that for i dont want to here." i said while walking up to him. "You will." he said while standing up. "I wont." i replied "You will." he said while walking up to me. "No i wont." i replied. By now we were standing so close that our breaths mingled and our foreheads almost touched.
His minty breath fanned my face and my head spinned. Gently his hand touched my arm and sparks ran through me. I slowly touched his arm as he shuddered.
It was impossible to believe that about two seconds i wanted to kill him and now i wanted to kiss him.
"I think we should let him in our gang." the dead calm voice of Nico cut through like a knife and i moved away from him. The lustful look in Jason's eyes vanished and his hand moved away from my arm. I suddenly felt cold and and shivered. Jason's breathing had increased and the tips of his ears had turned red.
I looked at Nico and his words replayed in my mind and when i grasped at what he was saying, i stared at him.
He just raised his eyebrows at me and i looked at James and Lina for support but they were just looking at me with wide eyes.
Suddenly Nel barged into the room and sensing the tense environment, he stopped at the door.
"Nico wants Jason to join the gang." i blurted at him, waiting for him to support me to deny "I think he is right." said Nel I felt Jason smirk beside me and that made my blood boil.
"Have you guys gone nuts!" i yelled at them They just stared at me making me even more mad.
"Ash we are the reason men chase Jason to kill him and we cannot protect him always." said Nel while James nodded "Nel is right. If we teach Jason to fight and give him a weapon he may have better hope at being safe. And this way he wont have to live at your home and you'll get rid of eachother." said James
Lina just nodded and i knew that she would give me a speech afterwards along witha million questions about Jason and me.
Ughh
"Fine." i said and they all looked at me, surprised that i had agreed so soon.
But i had a plan. A devil type of plan. My type of plan.
Nico's eyes met mine and he stared at me with such intensity that it felt as if he had stripped me naked.
