Two young lovers completed the beauty of the castle's garden as they lay beside one another, moistening below the warmth of the son. Erton had rested his back on a tree, stretching his legs wide for Elena to rest her head and so she had. Long chattering seemed to have tired their jaws, they sat watching the beautiful birds dancing above them. Erton, not satisfied with all the chatting, his heart was heavy as he had been tangled by a thought since he arrived at the castle. Unable to suppress it, he let out. “I think he is some sort of God”
Elena tilted her brows inward and squinted her eyes, she got up. “Who? King Reynor?”
Erton rapped her in his arms and hauled her to his chest. “No, Timmer. I think Timmer is a God”
“Ya mean lord protector?”
“Hmm,” He slid his fingers through her hair, fiddling with it. Elena creased her forehead, doubt, she guessed he had lost his sanity.
“Why would ya say that?”
“He is just so, so unexplainable”
The birds chirped and flew through the flowers for flavorful prey. Bees and butterflies scattered, a butterfly rested on Elena's feet. Her heart pumped in joy, she poked Timmer to have a look at it but Erton's excitement didn’t match hers. She comprehended her lover's conscious was intertwined in his thoughts, she wished to get him out of it. “Why is he so unexplainable? He is a fantastic warrior for sure”
“He has unimaginable strength, I saw with me own eyes”
Erton's claim now grabbed her attention, she rose up and sat straight, her ears keen to listen to what Erton had to say.
“Those bags, they were heavy bags, Elena. Reynor kept his armour and every cloth inside one bag and another was of Timmer's” Erton said.
“And? What about it?”
“He carried that bag with his one hand, even tossed it far away, like it was nothing to him”
“Maybe it was not heavy as ya felt it was”
“No, love. Ya know that I have been carrying weights since I was eight. I know what is heavy and what is not” Etron said, nearly yelling at Elena. “He just threw it”
“Maybe he is strong, really strong” Elena replied.
“He has the power of seeing future too” Erton exclaimed. Elena's full conscious was now trapped in Erton's theory, they shared the same interest. “He knew about our first night, he told me before it happened”
Redness slowly coloured Elena's cheeks. “He knows?” she asked, her eyes down in the grass and fingers busy digging the soil. “That is embarrassing. Tell him not to tell anyone, if my father knows—”
“He wouldn’t tell anyone, he has no reason to” Erton said hitting her head softly. “But the most beautiful thing is his eyes, his green eyes”
“Why? I have not seen a green-eyed man though”
“Yes, I have never too. It is just that, anyone around him feels comfortable, unable to not trust him and it strikes fear when he is in rage, ya have seen it too” Erton said, staring at her eyes with genuine awe. “He even said he is a priest of the Dome, he said he was a head cook at some lord's wedding, he said he had worked with a carpenter right here in Neamora and no one asked a question”
“Even Lord Kelvin?”
“Yes, even Lord Kelvin, and I know he is not such a man, I know he is a clever monster though he is blind” Erton said. “And Lady Vivian seemed to be attracted to him, the most beautiful lady in our continent, he had won her just with a glance”
