Song of the Chapter
Over by Blake Shelton
Joe
I sighed as I got out of my car at my apartment building.
Today was my first day back at practice since Christmas and it was long and grueling.
I am beyond tired. In fact, there is no words to describe my exhaustion.
My mom came to Cincinnati to babysit Naomi for me so I could go to practice since Madison has not came back yet from Virginia.
I have not heard from her since she returned my text that night saying she was almost home.
But she is coming back this evening.
To say I have missed her has been a huge understatement.
Tonight is the night that I tell her how I feel.
Now.....I just need a shower and a shave.
And a condom. (jkjk)
Or am I?
Seriously, I had another dream last night that I told Madison how I felt about her and she was so happy that we got it onnnnn for the rest of the night.😏
If that was to happen tonight .....you would not hear one iota of a complaint from this boy right here.
I have been in love with this woman since I first laid eyes on her.
I don't know how she feels about me but I can't put it off any longer.
The hints are not working.
At least I hope that's what it is and it doesn't mean that she does not care.
Sigh.
I am probably gonna worry myself to death about this.
Anyway.....I headed upstairs and into the apartment.
"Ma! I'm home!" I called out as I walked into the living room.
When I got in there, Mom was in the floor with Naomi, who was playing on her little play mat that Mom and Dad had gotten her for Christmas.
