I felt my mouth drop open.
"P-Pregnant? Me?"
"Yes ma'am. 10 weeks to be exact."
I counted in my head. Oh Lord thatis 2 and a half months pregnant!
How could I not know this?
Oh wait, Iremember.
This lovely thing in mine and Joe's life right now called stress.
So much has been going on that I guess I honestly haven't thought about it.
"W-Wow" I said,feeling a few tears in my eyes.
Happy tears,of course.❤
"Miss Winchester, we need to get you started on prenatal vitamins and you need to come back in a couple of weeks for a full OB workup. By then you will be able to hear the baby's heartbeat."
"O-Okay" I said,still in shock .
A baby's heartbeat 💓.
How amazing.
Dr. Newman scribbled a few notes onto a piece of paperand then handed it to me.
"Give this to the secretary out front and she will fix you up with an appointment. "
"Thank you,doctor."
"No problem and congrats." Dr. Newman said with a warm smile."I will see you in two weeks."
"Okay" I said,smiling.
With that, he exited the room,leaving me still in shock.
