I am pretty sure my mouth dropped open after hearing Joe speak.
"Ummm...baby.....who is Angie Haywood?"
Joe sighed. "My ex girlfriend from college. I'm assuming she is Naomi's mother."
"I see" I said.
Joe sighed as he put his head in his hands.
"I should have known something was up."
"What do you mean?" I asked.
"Angie broke up with me not long after LSU won the national championship. Never would tell me why."
"Joe, I know this is a very dumb question,but I'm assuming y'all had sex. But you know what they say about people who assume things."
"No I don't, babe. Enlighten me."
"They say it makes an ass outta u and me."
"Well....damn it...if that ain't true." Joe said,sighing and then putting his arm around me. "Sweetheart...i'm kidding. You're not an ass but trust me,I'm the biggest ass you will ever meet."
"Absolutely not" I argued. "Joseph Burrow, I've already met the biggest ass you will ever meet. Hell,I dated him for two long years."
"You talking about your ex with an issue of smacking around pretty girls?"
"Yeah...that's the one." I said,sighing. "But anyway....don't you go around calling yourself an ass,Joseph because you are NOT."
