The next morning Joe called the lawyer.
Mr.Nathaniel Collins,attorney at law.
I'm not kidding when I say he is the best around.
The guy has helped out so many kids through social services it's not even funny.
What is even better is he made an appointment for Joe to come into his office today.
This is a good thing because maybe he can get the ball rolling and set Joe's mind at ease a little bit.
Joe also asked me to go with him since I know the guy a little,which means we will haveto take Naomi with us as well.
It sometimes feels as if we are truly a little family.
It's very heartwarming and also a little scary at times because even thoughI deal with children and families on a daily basis sometimes I just don't feel as if I am ready for that motherhood role.
But......I'vesaid it before and Iwill say it a million times over.......Joe and that little girl mean everything to me.
I was getting dressed when I heard my phone ding from the dresser where it was sitting.
I grabbed the phone to see who would be texting me.
It was Joe....from across the hall....where his enormous closet was where he keeps his millions of suits that he owns.
