Chapter 23- Meet and "Greet"

3rd Person POV

Tobias was standing just outside Kuoh church. He adjusted his tie before phasing through the wall. This allowed him to enter without being noticed whatsoever by those inside. Tobias then slowly walked up behind the two holy sword wielders.

The moment he was right behind them, he slapped his hands down onto their shoulders. This startled both of them causing Irina to scream and Xenovia to shout whilst grabbing her sword.

Tobias: (laughs) This never gets old, I've got to try that other idea next time

Irina: Who are you?!

Xenovia: Speak

Tobias: Oh come on, surely you should know. Do I need to light a fire?

As he said this, he held his hand up and ignited a small fire. The fire burned within his palm as both Xenovia and Irina immediately knew who he was.

Irina: The Inferno Angel.....

Xenovia: Apologies, we didn't know-

Tobias: "It's fine, these things tend to happen. I should be the one apologizing in all reality" he said while closing his hand "After all I didn't introduce myself properly"

Anderson: Tobias, you got here quickly

Tobias: I wanted to meet the wielders, what brings you two to this town?

Xenovia: We're hunting a rogue exorcist

Tobias: Ah, wouldn't happen to be a prick named Freed Sellzen would it?

Irina: Y-yeah, you know him?

Heinkel: He's been on our watchlist for a time

Tobias: Yep, and now we can finally hunt him down

Xenovia: So you'll help us?

Tobias: I have no reason not to, but you need to meet someone first

Irina: Your son Venandi?

Xenovia: Irina!

Irina: What? It was a simple question Xenovia!

Tobias: (chuckles) Well yes, glad to see you know this. He's attending Kuoh Academy, keeping two devil houses in check

Xenovia: That's a dangerous but noble mission

Tobias: Dangerous? I mean perhaps, depends on your perspective. Either way that's where you can find him

Xenovia: We'll speak with him the day after tomorrow

Irina: Yeah, we'll be visiting an old childhood friend of mine tomorrow!

Tobias: Well that's nice, now I've got to go. There's a chance I hit someone with my car on the way here. Ciao!

As Tobias sprinted out of the church the two wielders deadpanned. Anderson, Heinkel, and Yumie chuckled at the sight of what just happened.

It was the next day and Josiah was in the car with Tobias. The two haven't been in the car together in quite a bit. Asia and Raynare were sitting in the back seats while the two spoke.

Josiah: So why is the front of car splattered with blood?

Tobias: I ended up running someone over last night

Asia: Huh?!

Josiah: You what?!

Tobias: Relax! It turned out to be somebody I knew and he was okay
