Chapter 5- The Fallen Angels

Josiah's POV

After explaining for the third time my father and grandfather finally understood the situation. It took me so long to explain and for them to understand we were already home and in the living room.

Tobias: Oh for God's sake.......

Josiah: Why is this so bad?

Vergil: Sona once beat her first fiance at a game of chess. It was to prove that she would not marry someone who wasn't smarter than her

Josiah: And?

Tobias: You beat her at chess........

I then realized my crucial, horrible, and regrettable mistake.

Josiah: Ah shit..........

Vergil: Language, but still, now you have to deal with her coming after you

Tobias: It doesn't help that he didn't hide his aura when we first entered the academy either........

Vergil: Then they know someone powerful has entered the school, Sona probably has the largest suspicion since you beat her at chess

Josiah: The Gremory pawn invited me to the ORC to see if I wanted to join

Tobias: Then that red headed brat might know, damn it.......

Vergil: Doesn't help that she sent her rook to spy on you

Josiah: I thought I felt a presence following me

I saw my dad look out the window towards a nearby building. He looked at it for awhile before turning back to me and my grandfather.

Vergil: The rooftop?

Tobias: Yup, I'm gonna deal with her. Don't worry though, I'll just knock her out and bring her back to the ORC building

Josiah: Alright, what should I do for the time being?

Vergil: Venandi and Abbot are going to church tonight

Josiah: So tonight's mission requires Venandi, alright. I take it that we're going to the only church in town?

Tobias: Yup, we have a temporary "alliance" with the fallen angels there

Vergil: Damn traitors

Tobias: Get your gear on and then let Abbot know when you're ready

Josiah: Got it, I'll see you two later

Vergil: Aye, next time we meet in person I'll tell you about what we discussed at the school

Josiah: Alright, see you soon
