Chapter 17- New Pieces

3rd Person POV

1999, English Channel

On a Royal Navy ship within the English Channel, an SR71 Blackbird had crashed into the deck. Nazi vampires had taken the ship earlier, and now their leader was faced with two figures emerging from the crash. The crimson coated Alucard and black coated Tobias walked onto the deck.

In front of them was a terrified Rip Van Winkle, her focus was completely on Alucard however. As Alucard walked towards Rip, who was paralyzed in fear, Tobias dashed into the shadows. When Alucard attempted to grab Rip, of a dozen bullets ripped through his body.

They were fired from the vampire Nazis who were in the ship. As Rip backed away, Alucard's body began regenerating and twisting into a horrific figure. He used his powers to begin killing the terrified Nazis as Rip ran away to the other side of the ship. But Alucard wasn't the only one ripping the Nazis to shreds however.

Each Nazi that he narrowly missed was beheaded or split in half by Tobias with his sabre. The last Nazi standing fired his MP40 at Alucard, although it was pointless.

Nazi: WHAT IN THE HELL ARE YOU?!

He was then killed, as Tobias stabbed him through the back and pierced his heart. Tobias sheathed his sabre and picked up the MP40 as Alucard walked over to him.

Tobias: You killed Luke Valentine and that Dandy Man. I'll deal with Rip, you clear out the ship

Alucard: Hmph, very well but make sure I can at least hear that impersonator scream

Tobias: "Whatever you say" he replied before going after Rip

Rip stopped running and remembered what the Major had once told her. Steeling her nerves, she turned around to face the monster who she thought was after her. But when doing so, she was met with the silhouette of Tobias who stood a few feet away.

Rip: Y-you, who ze hell are you?

Tobias: You know full well who I am and who I am not. The question is, who are you?

Rip: "I am the huntress Rip Van Winkle, tinker-tailor-soldier-sailor, my bullet punishes all without distinction!" she responded while aiming her musket at him

The darkness hid both Tobias's face and his grin. He remembers her completely as the memories briefly flash through his mind. The fire on deck soon began spreading further as the Nazis inside the ship screamed in terror as Alucard ripped through them.

Tobias: "Hmph, seems about right" he said before taking a step forward

Rip: "Damn you..... die!" she shouted before firing

The bullet pierced right through his body, causing him to stumble back a bit. Said bullet circled around and hit him again.

Tobias: Ow

The bullet continuously peppered his body as he kept saying "ow" while Rip shouted at him.

Rip: Again! Die you swine! Die!

Just as Tobias was about to be launched off the edge of the ship, he caught the bullet in his teeth. This both shocked and terrified Rip, who saw Tobias bite down on the bullet. As his teeth broke the bullet, he began walking forward as his body regenerated.

By this point, the fire had spread further and got close to them. Both it and the moon light revealed to Rip who she was facing. This caused her heart to drop as her eyes widened and she began taking a few steps back.

Tobias: Are we done playing this game Obersturmführer Winkle?

Rip: O-oberstleutnant Reid?!

Tobias: "In the flesh" he said getting closer
