Chapter 22- Holy Women in Kuoh

Josiah's POV

I simply stood there, looking at Akeno with slight disbelief. Issei on the other hand, was rather shocked in his own way by the looks of it. I simply sighed before straightening my school coat and turning around.

Josiah: I'll leave you two alone now

Akeno: Actually, you could wait outside Josiah. There's something I want to talk to you about after I'm done with Issei

Josiah: Fine, whatever you say

I left the room and closed the doors behind me. I leaned on a nearby wall and waited for a bit. Akeno probably wants to flirt with me a bit more, which brings the question. Why?

I know she's widely known as a big flirt around the academy. But to keep doing it with one specific person over and over says something. Something that has sparked some concern.

Does she actually like me? No, there's no way she does

Tobias: My boy! We need to talk

Josiah: I didn't expect you to contact me so suddenly. What's up?

Tobias: The sky

Josiah: I'm closing the line

Tobias: Relax! It's about the CEO of Apocalypse Incorporated

Josiah: CEO? Didn't know that they had one

Tobias: Since Apocalypse Incorporated isn't a company in the mortal realm they follow their own rules. Hence, the board of directors are the real ones in charge and the CEO is below them

Josiah: Thanks for the explanation but what did you want to tell me about the CEO?

Tobias: Welp, despite my best efforts to convince her otherwise. She wants to meet you soon

Josiah: She?

Tobias: Yes, it's a woman

Josiah: Why does she want to meet me?

Tobias: Well as she stated, you are growing stronger. So that strength has attracted her

Josiah: Who exactly is she? It'd be nice to at least know her name

Tobias: I'll have to tell you another time, but note one thing. Play this right, and you'll be giving me a lot of grand kids from several different women

Josiah: Can you not talk about this?!

Tobias: Hey, you're the one doing it with your peerage members. Some of them at least, aside from that we'll talk later

I sighed as the line stopped, my father is truly something else. Then again, that's one of the reasons I love him. He was a bit different back then though. He was more compassionate and soft spoken, but not anymore.

Not ever since mother's passing

As I stood there in deep thought, I then heard the doors open. Issei came out, he seemed like he just had an experience of sorts.

Josiah: Not that I care, but are you okay?

Issei: Y-yeah, just had an interesting time in there. Akeno wants to see you now

I nodded before going inside and closing the door behind me. Whatever she did to that pervert, it seems to have a lasting effect. Looking towards Akeno, I saw that she was still in her bathrobe.
