as vinnie anxiously waited for the five minutes to end, he thought of all possibilities of her being hurt and how bad it would be. as soon as five minutes ended, vinnie was quick to pick up his phone and call her.

she answered, a blanket over her body, allowing vinnie to only see her head and face. they talked, but the only thing vinnie payed attention was how anxious and tired lennon looked. she constantly looked on edge which was completely unlike her.

when she readjusted her blanket, vinnie's eyes slightly watered at the sight of multiple dark buises on her collarbones and chest. she was quick to cover it up and keep talking, hoping that vinnie didnt find it or any of the many other bruises she had.

"lennon?"
"hmm?"
"are you okay?"
"yeah, yeah why wouldnt i be?"
"i dont know, just asking i guess"

once they had ended the call a few hours later because lennon had to do something, vinnie sat in his bed with so much on his mind. the only thing he cared about was lennon coming back to la in 2 days.
