027. gonna be sober tonight

"im not going" lennon argued to sydney, who was once again dragging her to a party. "dude come on, one more time before christmas" sydney said back.

"i really dont want too" she whined. "vinnie will be there" syd shrugged. "that doesnt exactly change my mind" lennon stated as sydney rummaged through her closet for an outfit for lennon.

"you havent seen vinnie in like 3 days" she said before pulling out a dress. "im not wearing that"

"yes you are"

"no im not"

"lennon im not playing with you" sydney stated. "if your dragging me to a stupid party, im not wearing a dress" lennon said as syndey searched through her closet once more before pulling out jeans and a nice shirt.

"happy?" sydney asked. "yes, but still dont wanna go to a party today"

"if this is about that picture then just announce your dating. the fans just think its nai because they were hanging out, but in reality that was a picture of you and vinnie. as long as you know that, then it doesnt matter" sydney stated. "yeah but vinnie doesnt wanna announce it because hea afraid i'll get hate and honestly after seeing these ship comments, i dont wanna announce it either"

"they can take their ship comments and shove it up their ass"

"sydney!"

"im speaking facts!"

"lets just get ready and go so we can get this over with"

as the two walked inside hours later, people were already taking shots and dancing. lennon instantly looked around the room before spotting kio and walking over to him.

"you driving syd home?" she asked as he nodded. "are you getting a drink?" he questioned as she shook her head. "i might have to drive vinnie home since he doesnt exactly look like hes gonna be sober tonight" she said as they both looked over at him.

as usual, lennon was right. as she walked towards vinnie, she noticed how he looked completely out of it. she grabbed his hand, leading him out of the crowd and towards the front door.

"you know where my girlfriend is?" he asked, slightly slurring his words. "uh yeah, she asked me to take you home" lennon replied, still taking him towards the door. "i miss her, its been a few days since i've seen her and i just wanna cuddle and kiss her" vinnie said as he sat down in her car.

"shes really pretty too, her eyes are really blue and i like them" he explained. "i think shes mad at me though. i dont want her to be mad. i posted a-a picture of us and people thought it was this girl who i just met. i wanna tell everyone about her but i just know that people will try and dig up some dirt on her and i dont want that. i just want her to be happy and not feel like she's being replaced by someone else" he said, his words slightly slurred as lennon stared at him in awe.

"shes like my baby, i would never replace her. i've wanted her for way tooo long just to give up because of one comment. i know she wont let it get to her cause shes a lot stronger than she looks but still, i feel bad. one time she slapped me across the face really hard. it hurt, for like 3 days" he said as lennon held in her laugh, remembering exactly how she slapped him when they were play fighting, in her defense, he asked for it.

she continued driving before getting to the sway gaming house.

"wait, can you take me to my girlfriends how?" he asked in a cute tone.

as if lennon didnt know where she was going, vinnie stated the directions until they reached lennon's house. she helped vinnie iut before taking him up to her room.

"shes not here" he said sadly. "im sure she'll be back in the morning" lennon stated as vinnie nodded before laying in her bed.

lennon smiled before changing in the bathroom and walking out to see vinnie already asleep. she smiled before going downstairs and onto the couch, turning on the tv before getting comfortable.
