023. remember anything you said

as lennon woke up, she was instantly hit with a pounding headache. she looked up to see vinnie still sleeping as she wrapped her arms around him tighter, cuddling into him.

he tiredly glanced down at her before rubbing his eyes and stretching.

"well good morning to you too" he said.
"shut up"
"oh god, your hung over"
"all i said was shut up. but yeah, i am"
"your cute when your drunk"
"ew"
"do you remember anything you said?"
"yeah, very vividly"
"like what?" he asked as she moved her head to look away from him.
"like the part where i so awkwardly and stupidly admitted that i had feelings for you" she said, vinnie's hand softly turning her head back to him.
"if it makes you feel any better, i admitted my feelings for you to my mom" he said as she laughed.
"did syd make it home?" she asked.
"oh god dont even get me started"
"what happened?"
"lets just say two drunk people of the opposite gender dont mix well together. either you were already asleep or you were to drunk to care"
"probably a mix of both"
"i thought you were gonna throw up on me"
"no no, i can hold my alcohol"
"you tried to make out with me in the bathroom"
"lets not talk about that. i was still partially sober and it was just awkward in so many ways"
"you were cute though. you kept falling asleep on me and you let me carry you in"
"what do you mean i 'let you'"
"sober you woulda been like, 'im all independent, i can walk'" he imitated.
"its cause im clingy when im drunk"
"i know. your like a little softie. you ready for this? you didnt curse at me the entire night" he said, feigning shock.
"shut up"
"holy fuck are your broken? you didnt curse at me?"
"no, im hungover"
"well then lets go downstairs and you have to let me carry you"
"its only cause im still 90% asleep"

he got up before picking her up as she wrapped her legs around is lower torso and her arms loosely around his neck. he placedher on the counter in the kitchen before grabbing water and two pills.

"woah, you guys had a fun time last night" sydney said after her and kio came down the stairs.
"yeah, she had a fun time sleeping, but you know what wasnt so fun?" vinnie asked.
"whats got your panties in a bunch?"
"the fact that i was enjoying the presence and the cuddling that was going on until i woke back up to your loud ass moans. kio, take it easy dude. it was fucking 3 am"
"well when we started it was actually-"
"shut up" lennon and vinnie said at the same time.
"im going upstairs now" lennon said.

just before she could get off the counter, vinnie was quick to pick her up and take her to his room. he laid her on the bed before cuddling into her.

he laid his head on her chest, her fingers running through his soft curls.

"hey lennon?"
"hm?"
"what are we now?
