as lennon woke up, she felt herself being picked up.
"you didnt have to sleep on the couch" vinnie said while walking up the stairs with her in his arms. "i was being nice" she mumbled into his chest.
he placed her in her bed before laying beside her and kissing her forehead.
"your like a lost puppy when your drunk" she mumbled. "how?" he asked through a laugh. "you kept asking where your girlfriend was. when i took you home, you asked if i could take you to your girlfriends house. of course i know where my house is but you literally said the directions out loud until we got there" she said, wrapping her arms around him while cuddling into him.
"you said it yourself, i was wasted" he mentioned, moving her hair away from her face. "we both leave tonight" lennon said sadly. "dont remind me. i wont be able to see you for new years" he whined. "but i'll see you the day after you get back" she mentioned.
"thats too long" he said. "babe, its only a a week and 2 days" she smiled. "i couldnt go 3 days without seeing you, i definitely cant go a week" he stated. "you'll be fine" she said before kissing his lips.
during the night, both flew back home. lennon was back in new mexico while vinnie was back in seattle.
